Toni box or yoto?

We have a Toni box that a grandparent bought him, and we do like it! Wouldn’t say he keeps the characters on very long 😂 with that you literally place the figure on and it works.
Not really looked into a yoto to compare ☺️
And everyone has always bought him the figures for Christmas and birthdays when we have no idea what else to get xx

Tonie is better for younger kids as its easier to play it (by putting the figurine on top) and the characters are bulkier.
Yoto is the same idea but uses card so its really better for older children. Yoto has a normal sized and a mini travel sized one. Normal sized has a radio as well as shows the time and possibly is a night light too. Mini is smaller so doesn't have most of it or if it does its at a smaller scale.
We have a tonie box and we generally like it but probably will consider buying a yoto when he's older of he'll want it :)

Im leaning towards a yoto mini, knowing my little one, she would just play with the tonni characters in her doll house lol.
Feel like the yoto will be used for longer too with better content for 3+ x

Tonie box here- it’s in the bedroom and my daughter chooses a character before going to sleep- it was the only thing that stopped her leaving her room!
