Hi moms, our LO is currently going through what we think is yet another sleep regression. Some nights, she wakes for at least an hour, but last night, it took two hours for us to get her back to bed. When this happens, what do you do?
Do you continue to try to get them back to sleep, or do you just get up with them until they get tired again? Last night we tried for two hours straight and we are just exhausted today - mentally and physically. Just looking to see what everyone else does in this situation.
Thanks.

We literally hold her til she falls asleep. It was taking up 3 hours to get her to go back to sleep but i don’t want her thinking it’s ok to be awake and play in the middle of the night so we sit in the nursing chair in the dark patting her until she goes back down. It’s been really hard to be honest with u but I think we’re at the end of it as we’ve had some good nights for the last few days so fingers crossed for u that it doesn’t last too long x

It's so tough! We are about 4 weeks in and some nights I'm sleeping in my little ones room as she's waking the whole house up! Me and my husband have work and my son has school so we are trying to keep the noise down. It's just a phase... repeat :)
