Baby groups Southampton/Hythe

I live in Hythe and have a 2week old little boy. Looking for recommendations of any baby/parent groups around the area ( New Forest/ Southampton City Centre). I haven't been in the area long so would be nice to meet other mums.

Also if anyone has childminder recommendations that take babies from 6months old, would be grateful 🙂

Hi. I would really recommend Tots play Southampton. They have a class from 6 weeks. There's one In Dibden and Colbury.
Clare the leader is so nice and friendly.
You can feed , change when you like through out the class. X

There are lots of church groups in the hythe/Dibden area. They are stay and plays, but most of them are great. Monday there is one at St Johns hall (smartees), there is also a stay and play at Gang Warily 10-12
Tuesday there is one at the Abbey in Beaulieu (jelly tots) 9.30-11.30 and also St Andrews Church in Dibden Purlieu (Dibden minis) I think 10-11.30
Wednesday - there us one at hythe united reformed church
Thursday - Dibden minis is on again.
Friday - gang warily have their stay and play again 10-12, they also run jiggy wrigglers at hythe youth club!

Mama needs new friends ✨

Hey mamas 🤍 I'm going to be honest — I'm at a season in my life where I'm craving real, genuine friendship. The kind where we actually check on each other. Where conversations go both ways. Where we can laugh, vent, cry, and just *be* without it feeling one-sided.

I'm a stay at home mom of 6 (yes, 6! 👏🏼) and my days are full but my cup feels a little empty in the friendship department. I'm looking for women who get it — the chaos, the beauty, the exhaustion, all of it.

If you're a mom who values deep, reciprocal friendship and you're also out here looking for your people — drop a 👋 below. Let's actually get to know each other. 🤍

Help

Really embarrassing!
I'm a first time mummy at 35, she's 16 month and everytime I sneeze or cough I lose control of my bladder and pee a little 😔, I've had countless utis since having her aswell! Will it get better? Or do I need to invest in panty liners? 😆

Leaving your baby

Has anyone else not left their baby to be looked after by someone else (not dad) yet? I still don't feel ready but am being told I should be by now

Random but when you use a vibrator do you need to hold your lips open for it to touch the bean ?

It gets annoying because even if I open my legs I still need to hold the lips open to touch the bean and I have to do it the entire time my lips are literally sealed closed 🤣
