I’ve now lost the count of how many people told me to put biscuits in my baby bottle so he’ll last longer in between feeds/ he would finally sleep through…. 😑😑 I personally don’t want to do it but I’ve heard it so many times and I’m starting to doubt myself. Has any of you tried it or regularly add to baby bottle?

Really? NHS says you should never put anything in a bottle other than milk! I personally really wouldn’t!

I used to put a rusk in my sons bottle now and again but I'd completely blitz it down so it was just thicker milk, he did sleep better I have to admit x

Look up papers - there are no published scientific papers that confirm whether being “fuller” = a better night sleep in babies x

If you've started weaning, why not just give them food an hour before their final milk feed. I always aim for my son to have finished his dinner and hour before his bedtime boob so he still takes a good final milk feed. He's started sleeping through for about a week now but he eats SO much solid food during his 3 meals and weaned on to solids ridiculously quickly. I was worried it was so fast but he just loves it and has a massive appetite. My eldest didn't sleep through until she was 10 months old and was not a big eater of milk or solids, ever. Although, actually she loves her milk now, probably more than food and she's 2🙄
