My baby has Iron Deficiency. I think it’s because he drinks a lot more milk still than food. Do you guys have any tips and meal ideas with high iron I can give to him that he might like? How can I get him to eat more food?

As a vegetarian family we have to make sure to get our iron. Easy things like eggs with spinach, fortified cereal with iron, toddlers who are still about the milk life May like the baby cereal still too which usually is fortified. You can add chia seeds to things like peanut butter toast or inside smoothies. A great way I get a lot of nutrients into my toddler is smoothies. Our go to is almond milk/spinach/frozen fruits of choice/ripe banana for sweet or honey and I add flax seed/chia seeds and hemp hearts. All of which add iron. Along with iron.. The body absorbs iron better when you consume it with a source of vitamin C. To enable the body to absorb more iron. Calcium will do the opposite and block the absorption, so serve foods with calcium at a different time.

Start to slowly cut out the milk... cow's milk in particular can create iron deficiency when too much is drunk because the calcium blocks iron absorbing. Give water at meals and milk at nonfood times. This will help absorb the iron during meals. Spinach and broccoli are great for iron (and a lot of meats, but I, personally am vegetarian so the other 2 are my go-tos)
Beans are also great. My kid loves black beans and it's super simple to open a can, rinse some, throw in a pan with some spices and heat up. He can practice fork skills or finger eat them.

Use a cast iron skillet to cook his meals in or reheat them. It adds iron naturally to the food.

OO since Mona brought up cast iron skillet... Look up "iron fish" it's the concept of cast iron skillet but as fish shaped tool that you can add into any pot. No need for seasoning and fussing with a cast iron skillet!
