Here’s a what a day of eating looks like for my bubs-
Nursing every 3-4 hours
A purée at lunch time and purée at dinner
Snacks all day (teething crackers, puffs, things like that)
He gets real solid food randomly but it’s definitely not enough to be like a “whole” meal. Sometimes he will eat a banana, sometimes toast or waffle, bites of my dinner, etc.
Does anyone else’s eating look like this? Should I be feeding him more regular solid meals rather than purées?

It’s up to you whether you want to start feeding him more solids. I’d give my baby a fruit purée in the morning if I don’t feel like making anything, and include an actual fruit and some crackers so I know he’ll be full. For the rest of the day, he has his portion of actual food for lunch and dinner. Plus his snacks in between. He also has his full morning (6oz) and night (7oz) bottle, with about 3-4 (4-5oz) bottles throughout the day, depending on how he feels.
I’d say if you want to start giving him more solids, you can start slowly and work your way up

My son’s eating routine looks very similar to yours. I’ve just recently started to feel a little more comfortable with introducing solids and he’s 9 months. It’s totally up to you whether or not he has more solids. Go at a pace that works for you and baby

My son is 9 months and I do purées 2-3x a day and I’ve started introducing solids. He still doesn’t seem that interested and not too fond of the texture of solid foods so I’m just taking it slow.

I try to give my baby solids at least once a day so he can practice. Whenever I give him solids it’s not a whole meal either. Typically one or two things because for the most part he spits it all out 🙄 but at least he’s practicing his chewing. Sometimes if I feel like he didn’t eat much and he’s hungry I’ll offer him purées right after the solids.

My baby is 10 month now. I feed him 3 times a day puree in a thick almost solid texter I give him 2 snacks one being ritz cookies cause he loves those and the other being a soft fruit like bananas something I know he will not have a hard time passing because he only has 2 bottom teeth. He drinks about 3 to 4 bottles with 24 hours of the day all being from 6 to 8 0z bottles.
