NT scan

Hi everyone, yesterday I had my NT scan, everything looks fine however my blood results came a bit off and I have high risk for T21. I am waiting now for the results for the free cells DNA test and I'm freaking out. I lm so worried I haven't slept.
I need some sort of reassurance and some positive stories 🙏🏼 thanks

Try not to worry lovely, which I know is easier said than done. They will offer a more accurate test if it's high risk. If that also comes back as high risk, then you have the choice to confirm using a diagnostic test, which will give you a definite answer. So try not to panic too soon, and you're in control at every stage. X

Try not to worry, in my previous pregnancy I came out on 1/160 on the nuchal translucency but 1/10,000 on the NIPT test which is way more accurate, and shows how widely different they can be. The NT takes into account several different things one of them being maternal age, I was 34 at the time of my last test and 37 now so I always come our higher than my actual risk. It’s anxiety provoking at the time though x

I have a baby girl with DS. We had a 1 in 2 chance, so 50/50. Your feelings are valid and the fear is unexplainable, so I understand.

But if I could go back now and if I was given the opportunity to have a baby without DS I wouldn’t choose, I would choose to have my baby girl over and over again with DS as she is amazing, and it really isn’t as scary as I thought it would be.

Good luck with everything and congratulations!

Just want to sleep again! 🫩

I wake up around 8.30am, have some cereal, meditate/pray for a bit, make a cuppa and then by 10am I’m tired again and could easily nap. My iron levels have been checked and were fine. Is it just me or is anyone else feeling like this? I’m currently 35 weeks pregnant 👀

Possible blood clot on the lung /VQ scan

Has anyone had a VQ scan for possible blood clots. As I need to have to have one and concerned due to the radiation and possible risk of baby having childhood cancer.

Review at 36 weeks

Has anyone had An anesthesia review at 36 weeks?
What is this for as I never had this with my first?
I am being scanned every 3 weeks as my first was small and now my second is measuring small.

Baby girl names

Love pretty shorter names such as Millie, Gracie, Lottie. My husband only likes Millie and I’m struggling to find anything else he likes! However I’m not 100% on Millie.

Love Lilly, Maisie, Isabelle, Tilly but sadly can’t use these sadly.

We have a little boy called Oliver (Ollie).

Middle name will be Rae.

Any ideas?🙈

Anyone else still feeling really good

If I hadn’t of had a scan I wouldn’t believe I was pregnant. I was tired with sore boobs and this is still the case but no where near as much. I feel so good. I am incredibly bloated though but I can deal with that. My first pregnancy I suffered with dizziness really bad so this is a pleasant change.
