Asda Nappies

I cannot believe how shocking these are! I was in Asda and running low on nappies so decided to pick up a pack of these. Every time my daughter wears one she leaks! Absolutely horrendous, they also feel so so so thin?! Almost just like a pair of knickers. Anyone else had issues with little angels?

Size 6 and 6+ are both rubbish, have been using aldi and having no problems

Yes, wet every night 🤦🏼‍♀️ the pull ups aren’t much better.
I think they are ok when they are babies but not as they are growing. My little one drinks a lot through the day and night.
Currently Sourcing some different ones at the moment, really reluctant to pay pampers prices but I know they are good.
What ones do you normally use?

we usually use Aldi, they are the best! 🫶🏼

I find Aldi the best

I usually use Aldi’s nappies for during the day and pampers night pull ups for nighttime! Never had any issues with either of them x

3 votes for ALDI 🥳 I’m defo gonna stick with them in the future!

Not tried them but we use Aldi for the day and pampers for overnight. Also Lidl nappies have been good too 😊

Avatar

I tried Aldi as I heard good things but they gave my LO nappy rash 😫 I used pampers for my eldest and looks like we'll be stuck using pampers for my 16mth old too 🥴😅

These are our go to and our little boy was in a size 5 but they changed them and they were huge and leaked so we went back down to a size 4 and they've been fine

Avatar

Same! I usually use aldi 6+ but was in asda so picked those up instead and they are absolutely horrendous

We used to love the Asda nappies but then they changed the design and supplier. They used to have an elasticated band and once that went we also got leaks all the time, so we have switched brands. We now love Sainsburys and Tescos Fred&Flo.

Avatar

Tescos useless too . They go on one side of the bum 🤣

We used to use asda pants for my LO and she used to get a rash. So stopped it and switched to Aldi.

We currently use Tesco nappies size 5, they've never caused us any problems, little angels leaked now and again when we used them. The worst nappies we've tried so far were pampers, absolutely hated them, leaked everynight x

My boy leaked every single time without fail in Asda nappies when we tried them when he was younger, day or night. Even in an hour during the daytime. They were never my go to but my daughter could use them as a baby if needed so not sure if they’ve changed them since x

Avatar

Ohhh I swear by these 🙈 we’ve always used Asda ones and tried aldi once cause I shop between the two and the aldi ones she leaked in but doesn’t in these 🤔

Avatar

I used asda for the first 2 sizes then found the bigger sizes were leaking, went to aldis woxh were great but again a few sizes up and they were leaking, we now use I think it's rascal and friends from tesco and they are great, currently use a size 5 and no issues but I do feel like their sizing is slightly bigger than asda & aldi 😊 x

Avatar

I have been using Asda nappies size 3 they have been fine but when I bought size 4 Asda pants they were quite big and had a leak. Only pampers has size 3 nappy pants which is perfect. Now I have bought Asda size 4 nappy which is also fine and nutmeg size 4 nappy pants are also perfect.

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

Colostrum storing?

Has anyone successfully extracted colostrum before the baby’s born? Apparently it gets produced from 16w pregnant and you can start storing it in the freezer but I’m 34w looking at my nipples and the syringes on amazon wondering how it works?? Like what did you use and did it hurt? 🥲

Self settling

Any tips or advice of how to teach 6.5month old to self settle? I’m up multiple times in the night to cuddle her back to sleep and put the dummy in. I understand she will wake up and want a cuddle etc but any tips on self settling would be appreciated 🥰

Baby losing weight

Hi all, it's been a long time since I had a baby (my son is 15!). My daughter is 10 days old and was 9lb born, she has since lost weight at every appointment and is at a 12% loss. I am breast feeding every two hours for over an hour and topping her up every feed. I pump and can get 60ml in 10 minutes so I know my supply is okay. Anyone had this before? Can give me some tips? I currently feel like I'm letting my baby down.

Did I overreact?

I have had 3 c sections, recently had a wisdom teeth removal (4) to be exact and all my mom did was visit the day BEFORE and then she only sent 1 text. She has NEVER spent one full day with me and doesn’t acknowledge my achievements much. She just isn’t there when I need her to be. She claims she’s always working but she lives like 7 minutes away! she can come help with the kids so my husband can have break? we don’t ask her for much and she only sees the kids 1-2 a month. She also didn’t visit with my last c section. I told her that she should’ve gotten the abortion when she had the chance with me because why would you have me and neglect me emotionally? To not actually give me a present father in my life. I am very angry all she does is disappoint me. She only wants to show up for certain people in the family and I just want to grab her and shake her and ask her why can’t she be a good present mother?
