Hiya, I’m a bit worried as my 9 month old isn’t crawling, saying any babble words and has no interest in playing, he just wants to watch miss Rachel. We only allow him 1hr a day but he’d happily sit there the entire day if we let him. He shows no interest in any toys and doesn’t want to be held or any affection he just wants to be left alone but us in the room, if we walk out he cries! Anyone else had this experience?
TIA x

Personally I’d stop with the tv. An hour seems quite a lot when they’re this little.
Have you taken him out anywhere? Maybe give soft play a try, or a park. People watching is great for them. A natures tv!
Try and talk to your baby as much as you can. Sing lots of songs. Play music (any type!) on Alexa or whatever you have. X
yeah we take him out every day to the park he doesn’t like the swings or anything! He does like it when I sing to him as I sang so much when he was in my womb, I try and get him involved and dance around him and he just cries! We didn’t do any tv today and still nothing other than good satisfied him x

I was concerned as my baby wasn’t babbling so I called the health visitor a couple of weeks ago and she has referred her for a hearing test. I know her hearing is fine but the HV said this has to be ruled out first & then they can refer her on if her hearing is fine & if she still isn’t babbling etc. Then this week she has started saying baba & we had mama yesterday! I had really started to talk to her a lot more than usual & sing to her but we do also have miss Rachel on too. I think call your HV if your worried & see what they say but I’m sure it will come soon. We all worry so much don’t we but they just do things in their own time xxx
