thank uuuu

This is an amazing list, one thing I cannot rate highly enough is those disposable knickers; they were a life saver! I also got like those pull up pads (like knickers but just a pad) they were comfy and you can just throw away after use.
Wishing you all the best 🤗🤗

I got always discreet underwear and they were a life saver. Also 100% recommend getting a peri bottle!! x

yes second this….I had with my 1st and will definitely be using again xx

the ones they give you in hospital are nasty!!!

I was in the hospital for two days.
I opted not to shower in the hospital, so towel, shower shoes & toiletries weren’t used. It was much nicer to shower when i got home. I didn’t bring a water bottle with a straw & just refilled the lucozade bottle with water. I wish i had switched to my own disposable underwear sooner as it’s way more comfortable than the hospital ones. The hospital ones cut into my legs & stomach.
my husband and I did use the pillows i brought for us & he slept on the floor on a yoga mat that he grabbed when i had to stay for the second day because the provided chair was really uncomfortable for him.
Hand fans, my husband ended up buying them from the shop in the hospital because i forgot mine at home.
I found the formula with teats super useful in the hospital and for the first few days at home.

I would also pack a dressing gown and towel for showering

I followed some online guides and took so much stuff with me last time, had like a duffle bag full! Barely used any of it.
The hospital has premade milk/ready to feed bottles, maternity pads, blankets, painkillers, baby clothes if you forget anything.
I took snacks and drinks with me that never even left the car, last thing I wanted to do was eat.
I was in too much pain to concentrate for reading, watching or playing anything.
Change of clothes, toothbrush, deodorant, phone charger and towels were about all I used that I took. Nappies, wipes, and clothes for Baba. My partner brought the car seat with him the next day when we could leave.

More pants and pads than you think you’ll need. A comfortable pillow for you and your partner, fans, a dressing gown. My hospital provided nothing at all and we were in for a week.
