I’m confused

So this is my second baby yet I’m very confused, my midwife asked me today who my health visitor is, I’m 34 weeks and honestly have no clue, do I just get a call or something after the baby comes?

Also with my first my midwife came with me to give birth will I just turn up at the hospital this time and have a random person?

Depends on the trust, some HV contact you prior to your baby being here. If not then they get in touch pretty soon after arrival via text or call. I declined my vidit as I didnt feel the need for it. As for the MW, depends if they are on shift or not

I had a letter from the health visitors and they came to do a home visit to see me yesterday. It’s my first so I don’t know if this is something that always happens.

I’m in Herts and I don’t remember exactly what happened with my first, a health visitor seemingly randomly turned up at my house a few days after birth, weighed baby and felt like she was telling me off for everything, I asked to change health visitors after a while. This time a lovely lady called me to introduce herself and offered to come on a home visit to get to know me before baby is born. I didn’t think this was necessary but glad I know her name at least ☺️

Mine is being able to sleep on my stomach! I’ve never been a side sleeper so I can’t say I’ve had a good nights sleep since my second trimester🫠

I feel so bad 🥹

So I’m 27 weeks and I really don’t have much cravings but lately I’ve been wanting pork and beef. I have not ate both in over 8 years and yesterday I had bacon. I feel like I want to cry because now I want a pepperoni pizza 😭

What to do when water breaks?

So I was told when my water breaks wait at home till my contractions become regular, so try and prevent intervention (because I don’t want intervention, and midwife told me, once you go in with waters broken, you’re on their clock, which means if baby doesn’t come within a certain time they will try induce me ect)

What has anyone else done once their waters broke?
