I’m so over this

I’m 40 weeks tomorrow and feel like I have no signs of labor, baby has dropped and I’ve been losing mucus all week but no contractions or cramps. I broke down last night because I’m just tired of being pregnant and everyone asking if baby is here yet. I want this baby out but I want him to come naturally. If anyone has any advise I’ll try anything.

Same boat, 40 weeks today with no signs (besides some lower back pain?) of her coming. I have a scheduled induction 10/12 but I wanted her to be here this weekend 😬 as long as they are safe and healthy, we’ve gotta wait it out!

me too man 😭 I am 40+5, I'm already at least a couple centimeters dilated last we checked, baby dropped ages ago, and I have constant cramps but with no pattern whatsoever! People keep asking me everyday (multiple times a day for some of them) "baby?" and it's driving me crazy

I think once you reached 40 it’s full term and you might be able to be induced, depends on your doctor or how filled the hospital is

First, set a boundary with people asking. Let them know you will tell them when baby is here and will not be responding at all if they ask before that, then block them if you have to. Peace of mind will serve you so much more than they will.

In fact, increasing oxytocin is your best bet for getting labor started sooner. Orgasms/sex, cuddling and kissing, petting your dog or cat, watching funny movies, basically anything that makes you feel love and joy. So…not people “checking in” on you….🙃😂🤷🏻‍♀️

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!

Owlet

Anyone else’s owlet pi##ing them off ?!?! It goes off 5/6 a night saying it can’t get a reading and needs a snug fit. My baby is 8 months old so moves a lot. It is driving me insane and I keep end up taking it off!!
