Hey, I’m 18 weeks on Tuesday with my third baby and iv not felt any movement at all yet. It’s starting to worry me as I thought I would have felt something by now especially with it being my third baby. Has anyone else experienced the movements taking this long?

When did you feel with your first? I’m pregnant with my second and my midwife told me 20 weeks again. Didn’t feel my first until 21 xx

I am 18 + 4 weeks and I’m yet to feel an actual movement even though it’s my first but I was told not to worry until 20-24 weeks xx

I can’t remember tbh🙈 maybe around 18/19 weeks I had a posterior placenta with him and then my second last year I had an anterior placenta but probably felt around the same time.. the midwife did say at my last appointment that she thinks iv got an anterior placenta again cause it took quite a while to find the heart beat, maybe I’m just being impatient 🫣 x

Yeah the thing is so much can affect it. Baby just may be in a position where you’re not getting the full thwack yet! Give it a week or two and you won’t believe you hadn’t felt anything. xx

My 3rd baby I felt around 16/17 and my partner could feel at around 18/19.
4th pregnancy, 16w tomorrow and I'm getting slight bubbles and flutters

did you have a posterior placenta or anterior? Xx

@Jessica posterior xx I'm trying all sorts to make and feel movement, like a cold drink, sweet treats, a lovely warm relaxing bath, I've been laying so still and nothing much 😕 I've no symptoms or anything to suggest that baby isn't okay and we have a scan on Thu where I'll be 16+3 so hopefully get to see some movement 🤍
