Belly button pain

Hey girlies,

A bit of a weird one but has anyone noticed pain around their belly button at all? The surrounding area of my belly button is really tender and sore and when I feel over the top of it almost feels like there’s a slight lump. I’m currently 26 weeks + 2 days. The pain isn’t unbearable but it’s uncomfortable and hurts more severely if I do certain movements (i.e get up from seated to standing)

Thanks 🥰

I had tenderness around my belly button.. midwife put it down to growth and stretching. Always best to check in with the experts..

I had bad belly button pain for around 1 week from 18-19 weeks. My belly grew a lot this week and ultrasound at 20 weeks showed very healthy happy baby.

I put it down to ligaments stretching and fast belly growth. Have it checked if you’re worried 🫶🏼.

Thanks everyone 💕 I have a scan and midwife appointment tomorrow so I think I’ll mention it and get it checked then xx

I noticed this around 16 - 20 weeks and I think it was the pressure of my stomach stretching on top of the babies positioning. It eventually went away, but it even looked bruised for awhile. I still think my belly button looks kinda weird 😅

they are from primark 💕 I think was £12 for the little romper but they have loads of other options like shorts and long trousers etc. go go go! Xxx

I also had a dull pain with sort of a firm lump near my belly button about a week ago (currently 17 weeks preggo) and I thought it was maybe because I stretched my abs too much doing yoga. I just took it easy on the stretching and it went away in a couple of days. Will you keep us posted what your midwife says?

hey girl, I had my scan today and both babies were positioned right behind my belly button and I also have a high anterior placenta, so they said that the pain was most likely caused by the extra pressure on this area and the fact my stomach is having to stretch xx

Could it be your belly button popping out? I’m currently pregnant with twins and have already had a little girl and I remember it vividly with my little girl it’s a strange feeling and I’ve had it again recently just before my belly button popped xx

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Induction?

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Baby names

My daughter‘s name is valentýna and I’m struggling to find other nice girl and boy names beginning with V I’ve got a few and I’ve got loads that aren’t beginning with V, but I feel like I wanna go for all vs and I also love girl and boys names that match so because my daughter’s name is valentýna I would love to call my son Valentino my husband does not agree 😃

Induction or c section?

As a last resort, would you rather be induced or have a planned c section?

Really not liking the thought of being induced from people’s experiences I’ve read!
