Hey mums, a little bit of a silly question but I know so much has changed since I had my first pre Covid. I know before you could turn up early in the morning to an EPU for a reassurance scan and be seen however I feel like that has changed, does anyone know if you now need an appointment or at least a referral to be made on your behalf? Thanks in advance ☺️x

I had to speak with my GP who then called the EPU for me to refer me. I had bleeding and my EPU couldn't see me for 4 days. Each EPU is different though, the hospital website should explain their referral process.
Thanks hun, I did have a look and saw you do have to now be referred by the GP which I kind of expected anyways. X

I rang my epu for a reassurance scan and they said with no pain or bleeding they wouldn’t do it. It’s a direct referral EPU in Wythenshawe
