LGBT+ meet ups

Thanks to anyone who has or is in the process of joining this group. A couple of us, who are Kent based were talking about it and then I went and started one because, for me, it is feeling quite isolating being an LGBT+ mum-to-be and I wanted to connect with other people who are coming into parenthood like me and my wife are.

We live in central gravesend and don’t have any connections of our persuasion! We’re pregnant (I’m carrying) with our first and would love to meet up with or start a regular meet up with others.

Does anyone know of any groups around Kent that meet regularly?

This is a great idea, thank you for creating this - I agree it can be quite isolating (and exhausting when explaining our family dynamic)

Looking forward to meeting other families similar to ours ☺️

You’re welcome. 🌈It was a joint idea from a couple of mums and seemed like the next step.
I’m due on Mat leave in 3 weeks so will have a bit more time to actually meet up but be good to get a date/location in. Happy to be guided by meal/nap times as to what’s suitable?

Mama needs new friends ✨

Hey mamas 🤍 I'm going to be honest — I'm at a season in my life where I'm craving real, genuine friendship. The kind where we actually check on each other. Where conversations go both ways. Where we can laugh, vent, cry, and just *be* without it feeling one-sided.

I'm a stay at home mom of 6 (yes, 6! 👏🏼) and my days are full but my cup feels a little empty in the friendship department. I'm looking for women who get it — the chaos, the beauty, the exhaustion, all of it.

If you're a mom who values deep, reciprocal friendship and you're also out here looking for your people — drop a 👋 below. Let's actually get to know each other. 🤍

Help

Really embarrassing!
I'm a first time mummy at 35, she's 16 month and everytime I sneeze or cough I lose control of my bladder and pee a little 😔, I've had countless utis since having her aswell! Will it get better? Or do I need to invest in panty liners? 😆

Leaving your baby

Has anyone else not left their baby to be looked after by someone else (not dad) yet? I still don't feel ready but am being told I should be by now

Random but when you use a vibrator do you need to hold your lips open for it to touch the bean ?

It gets annoying because even if I open my legs I still need to hold the lips open to touch the bean and I have to do it the entire time my lips are literally sealed closed 🤣
