Healthy eating ๐Ÿ“๐Ÿ‡๐ŸŒ

Hello ๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿป Iโ€™ve developed the worst food aversion for fruit. Even the smell can make me gag! Iโ€™m worried Iโ€™m putting on too much weight as Iโ€™m struggling to keep fit too and can only manage a 30 min dog walk daily. Does anyone have any tips to making sure Iโ€™m eating enough of my 5 a day/ staying healthy? Currently 13 weeks ๐Ÿคฐ๐ŸปThank you!

Have you tried making smoothies with frozen fruit/veg? Daily walking is good, also swimming/yoga/pilates. Try to reduce carby/fatty/sugary foods. Well-balanced, wholegrain options, sufficient protein, and high in fibre

Fresh orange juice! 1 of your 5 a day and plenty of vitamin C! X

I hadnโ€™t even thought of that! ๐Ÿ™ˆ Thank you!

thank you - Iโ€™ll try smoothies! I really need to reduce my carbs but itโ€™s all Iโ€™m craving! ๐Ÿ™ˆ yoga is a good shout ๐Ÿฅฐ

@Emily there should be no strong smell with frozen ethier. Don't worry, I understand! For the 1st trimester, the only foods I could really stomach were carby foods. Everything was mainly beige foods! I also wasn't able to exercise due to nausea. My plan is to fix my diet and start exercising again now (2nd trimester). However, this has been delayed due to currently being sick with covid lol x

I used to go to the gym multiple times a week but have actually cancelled my membership! Oh no! Hope you feel better soon ๐Ÿฅบ

@Emily thanks lovely! Yes, my membership has been cancelled, too. I'm just going to do prenatal classes instead x

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

Period like cramps

Hi
Iโ€™m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but Iโ€™ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they arenโ€™t bad enough where I canโ€™t do basic things they just feel like Iโ€™m about to get my period Iโ€™m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and babyโ€ฆ less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way ๐Ÿ˜‚ arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after youโ€™re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!
