I've stopped BF this week and moved my baby onto the bottle. I wanted advise to what to do when out the whole day with your baby. I went out all day today and wasn't able to wash up bottles as there wasn't anywhere to wash up. I also wasn't able to keep my hot water hot for the length of time I was out.
What do other bottle feeding mamas do to make sure they have clean bottles and hot water? X x x

Hi, I was like this to begin with however I've been told and have been doing so far...
Fill kettle to 1ltr and boil.. fill every bottle you have to how ever many OZ ur baby has (ours has 4 so fill it to 4oz)
Then put lids back on and then the powder put them in a tub in the portion amounts ..you can buy a pot in asda for 2.25 with 3 slots for 3 feeds i use that adwell as other pots I had from hospital that they gave for breastmilk but I use them too ( sterilising them same way as bottles )
Then when your baby is due a feed just pour the measured powder into thr bottle ans shake ...baby can drink it cold and warm , if they prefer it warm if your out just pop into a cafe and ask for hot water ect say its for a baby they will be ok with it ..
Same goes for night feeds ..
We was getting up every 3 hrs to boil thr kettle now we just fill a put 6 to 8 bottles with 4oz of water and fill the pots with powder ...thst way we haven't gotta leave the bedroom to get his feed ...again if baby wants it warm ( you ...

You can buy a bottle warmer to keep in your room ( try fb marketplace first ) as they can be pricey.
I Try not to keep the water in the bottle longer than half a day so if there's left over ones from night before he will use 1 or 2 in the morning depending on time he gets up then rest get empty and start again
Thst way you can sterilise the bottles he's previously using after each feed wsit till u have a few empty ones then clean them ..
Sorry for long post hope that helps ? X

It depends on how long you plan to be out but I personally don’t normally stay out too long & my baby only eats every 3-4 hours when we’re out but I just warm bottles in bottle warmer before we leave the house & leave them in insulated pockets in her diaper bag & I have a formula dispenser with 3 separate slots you can fill with however much formula you need for each bottle & just pour it in the bottle when it’s time to feed. Also I’ve seen that they have portable bottle warmers for on the go but I don’t think it’s necessary I just warm them before we leave & they stay decently warm while we are out.
