11 month old won’t nap

My little boy has been pretty good at napping, having two a day, up until these past few days. We’ve been doing the same nap time routine as usual but for some reason he is just fighting his naps and won’t go down. I’ve even tried feeding him to sleep as a last resort but he’s having none of it. Does anyone have any ideas or been through something similar?

We’re going through similar at the moment!
Last week I started cutting out his morning nap and bringing lunch and the afternoon nap slightly earlier, but he’s seemed so tired the last few days so this morning I gave him a short morning nap which he went straight down for and then he’s just fought going down this afternoon even though I know he’s tired!
No tips for you, just solidarity! X

Mine went through this recently. I found he is able to stay awake for longer, so I have extended the wake window before each nap, and limit the naps to 1 hour so that we can fit both naps in. If he naps later than normal, I shorten the nap time further and find he is fine.

I did experiment dropping to 1 nap but it caused more night wakes so he is defo not ready for that yet. Good luck mama xx

Mine did the same, we dropped to one nap for a while. He would get tired really early like 5pm and we would put him to bed at 6pm.but now he is back to two naps. He goes through phases I think

Can he go longer to stay awake?! I was finding the same and kept him up longer and found this helped x

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

Colostrum storing?

Has anyone successfully extracted colostrum before the baby’s born? Apparently it gets produced from 16w pregnant and you can start storing it in the freezer but I’m 34w looking at my nipples and the syringes on amazon wondering how it works?? Like what did you use and did it hurt? 🥲

4 month bed time

What time do you put your babies to bed?
What time do you start your 'routine?'
My LO currently goes to bed around 10.30pm, and I know i need to start bringing it forward. Everytime ive tried, it takes longer for my LO to settle.
We are exclusively breastfeeding. Any advice Mamas?

Self settling

Any tips or advice of how to teach 6.5month old to self settle? I’m up multiple times in the night to cuddle her back to sleep and put the dummy in. I understand she will wake up and want a cuddle etc but any tips on self settling would be appreciated 🥰

Baby losing weight

Hi all, it's been a long time since I had a baby (my son is 15!). My daughter is 10 days old and was 9lb born, she has since lost weight at every appointment and is at a 12% loss. I am breast feeding every two hours for over an hour and topping her up every feed. I pump and can get 60ml in 10 minutes so I know my supply is okay. Anyone had this before? Can give me some tips? I currently feel like I'm letting my baby down.
