Do you think a man truly loves you if he has cheated on you before? Yes or No. If yes, explain why you feel that way. Would you forgive him? Will you be able to trust him again?

No. I couldn't even think about anything like that with another man because my partner is my whole world.
I'd never be able to trust him again and could never forgive him if he cheated on me. You didn't mean enough to him the first time, why would you this time?

Avatar

No, being in love with someone you never have a thought about being with a man not woman other then your significant other, you can forgive but from experience you won’t ever trust again even if you try it will always be in the back of your mind

Avatar

No. He not only risked your physical health ( std ) , but your mental health . Having your question your worth or what you did wrong . People who cheat are disgustingly selfish.

Avatar

I think cheating with sex definitely not 100% relationship over! But depending on the type of cheating, it's possible to fix but won't be an easy journey.

Avatar

No, you don’t hurt someone you love like that. I love my bf and the thought of ever being with anyone else has never crossed my mind

Unpopular Opinion Coming !!!

I don’t believe that a man’s value is in his penis. I truly believe that men have the ability to separate sex and love and whether we want to accept it or not , every man in the Bible enjoyed multiple women. When I say a man’s value is not in his penis it’s because a man’s role has always been to provide and protect. Now we can say OMG it’s 2023 blah blah blah but the reality is if a bad guy breaks into your home you’re turning to your man , if the bills get behind you’re angry at your man.

I do believe that modern men out of respect try not to cheat but having sex with another woman is probably not going to be enough for me to end my relationship especially if it was just sex. Now if we’re talking dating , providing , nurturing and pouring into another woman YEP I’m out but if he just had sex with her and kept it moving , that’s on her and her standards. Also was this a one time thing or multiple women cuz that changes things.

Hell no.

Avatar

No. If someone loves you they wouldn’t cross that line. If they do cross it, it’s because deep down they don’t. So you can go ahead and assume it’ll happen again

Avatar

No because willpower. I have crushes but because i love my husband I don't go beyond that line but thats just me..

Avatar

Cheating with sex NEVER, but if it’s an odd text and he never does it again then maybe he made a mistake. If u forgive him and it happens a second time he definitely does NOT love you.

I hope your not being cheated on, if you are I’m sending so may hugs your way. Not a nice thing to experience.

Be strong girly 🩷

Avatar

No. Someone who truly loves and respects you wouldn't even consider doing that to you.

Avatar

No. If he cheats he doesn’t respect you and at his core isn’t happy in the relationship and shouldn’t be in it.

Avatar

Cheating isn’t just “oh they stepped out” they betrayed your trust, crossed the boundaries of y’all’s relationship, potentially put you at risk for an STI, potentially could have gotten another person pregnant, spending money out of YALLS household (gas/food/condom/drinks/lube/hotel), or got them up in yalls house, can have other women/men literally out here clowning you like no mam

How do you love me and don’t respect my body, my feelings, or my mind? 💀💀

Avatar

Personally no, if he truly loves you he wouldn't be interested in others.

And vice versa. If you truly love them why would you look elsewhere.

Cheating is a choice. No matter the circumstances or alcohol or whatever it's still a choice that is made in that moment x

Avatar

I’m not sure tbh, I just don’t think they respect or care for you.

Avatar

I think they love the thought of you and as soon as someone else comes along they also love the thought of them. Trust is like a wrinkled up peice of paper. You can straighten it out and say you're sorry all you want, but it'll never be the same

Avatar

Never say never ladies. Men make mistakes. But women do too. Real talk. We are all human. We all slip up some how. Someway. U ain’t gotta sleep with the person to be considered a cheater. It’s up to u to forgive the person or not. But remeber. if the shoe were on the other foot. Wouldn’t u wanna be forgiven????

Avatar

No I wouldn’t want to be forgiven because then I’d be in the same relationship I was unhappy enough to cheat in. I’d rather learn move on and do better and hopefully find the person that makes me never think to cheat.

Avatar

Cheating is a choice, not a mistake. It takes lying and hiding and that's not a mistake, that takes thought.

Avatar

exactly. They made an active decision it was just a bad one they regret. Lol

Avatar

were talking about a 1 time cheater. Not a cheater who makes a hobby out of it. That’s diffrent. I wouldn’t waste my time if it’s a constant pattern. No thanx.

Avatar

Yes I know what we are talking about lol. Doesn’t change my opinion

Avatar

your perspective somewhat open my eyes. When I first started reading I’m like this girl tripping but after finishing, I’m like… she made some valid points. Cause when you think about it, most women cheat with a guy who provides something for her for the time being. Emotional support, maybe financially. Etc. there are woman who can fuck a guy and be on their merry way but a good majority of woman will cheat with a man who had provided for them for the time being which is why most men when a woman cheat, can’t just forgive and forget. They ready to bounce. Men cheat to get a nut. It sucks but hey it’s reality in today’s world unfortunately. I’ve cheated in a past relationship I had because the guy was providing me what I wasn’t getting from my exhusband.

Avatar

most people be in denial I refuse lol. People spend so much time saying what they would do if it was them but the truth is no one really knows what they would do until they’re faced with the situation. If you ask an old couple how they stayed married for so long they will say a lot of patience and a lot of forgiveness.

Family culture difference on money

Sorry this is long, I hope some of you get to the end and give advice!!!

So I’m a very thrifty person, things are tight at the moment, the cost of living crisis and my house is heated by oil so things are extortionate. We aren’t on the bread line but we aren’t flush, hubby might be made redundant so there is some financial pressure.

Sometimes I buy my sons something nicer, on the justification that I can sell it on after (♥️ vinted ♥️). I have also been planning on pretty much breaking even most of the baby things I bought from face book market place, side by crib, baby changing unit, etc.

Hubby and I have different money cultures with our families (he’s Indian, I’m British). I’m my family we don’t mix money, we would help each other out if someone was in trouble and will get each other gifts on special occasions. With hubby’s family money is much more fluid, they will give each other things worth thousands of £ just because.

Hubby’s brother bought him a new laptop and a new Google phone, he’s been very generous to hubby. Hubby hasn’t given the same back because brother is much richer.

Hubby and I mostly share finances. If it’s relevant I’m the higher earner.

Now to the point! My babies are so cute they’ve given hubby’s brother (currently single) baby rabies. He’s asked for our baby stuff when we’re done with it. He’s been so generous to hubby I feel really stingy saying no. But I’d never have bought some of the stuff if I wasn’t going to get a return on it - the thought makes me a bit anxious. If we gave all our baby stuff given the second hand value it still wouldn’t equal what the brother had given hubby.

I thought maybe I could give him some stuff but sell some stuff, but hubby said then his brother will just have to go out and buy that stuff, so I should name my price and ask his brother for the money. That makes me feel very uncomfortable, given how generous the brother has been to hubby.

So what do I do ladies? Give it all and suck it up? Give part of it and sell parts on Vinted/FB, or ask hubbys brother for money for it and be uncomfortable? Or do you see another solution?

No one is being entitled or rude here, just a culture difference I need to navigate.

Going back to work!

Already thinking about this! Told my boss I was pregnant this week at 10 weeks, he was so happy for me. He’s recently became a first time Dad and was showing me pictures of his baby. I told him my plans about going back after 6 months and he looked at me like I was mad, am I!? I absolutely love my job and cannot imagine giving it up, I manage a team and am petrified my position won’t be there if I had a year off. My husband gets 6 months full pay so the plan would be for him to have the last 6 months off and I also made it clear to my boss that I would like to go part time. That way we can hopefully parent together 4/7 days rather than just the weekend! I am such an overthinking! 🤣 but this is what I’m struggling with the most, I’ve worked full time since I was 17 (12 years ago) and the max time I’ve had off in one go is 2 weeks when I got married. I’m sooo excited to be a Mum and we decided now was the right time, which it 100% is! But I feel so on edge about not working! I’m sure once I’m on maternity leave I won’t even think about work! Has anyone else felt the same?

What are we giving our soon-to-be 3yo for their birthdays?

We have the magnetiles, we have the kinetic sand and play doh, we have the play kitchen…

Literally, is there anything left in the world to buy this spoilt kid? 😅
