I joined an online antenatal class recently and they recommended peri massage and showed something called an aniball. When I asked my midwife today if I should be doing a peri massage she couldn't really give me an opinion.
What are your thoughts ladies? I have never had a baby before so its a 1st labour for me.

They say to do this from 36 weeks onwards. It helps not tear so much/at all during labour x

Please don’t laugh …. But what’s an Aniball ? 🙈

thank you ❤️ first time having a baby in the uk and I seem to be discovering lots of stuff that appears to be common knowledge for everyone else .

I’m looking for a class ?? Any good xx

I did an online class also recently with Baby academy and they mentioned this but I find it so awkward and don't know if I can find the willingness to do it

yeah I feel the same. My midwife said there's no stats to prove its beneficial either way. And also more unnecessary expense x

Just wondering where did you find the online classes ❤️

if you follow Baby Academy on Instagram you will see they advertise free online classes from time to time and they are very good. Highly recommended

Thank you xx

yeah they never seem to want to make recommendations. Will you be doing it then? What will you buy?

Ive done a bit of research with peri massage and apparently it helps to get your partner involved as they can obviously reach easier. Also great way to bond 😊 but most of what i read said coconut oil and your thumb and fingers work just as good x
