I had my growth scan today where they’re estimating babies weight at 6lbs 9ozs (Appreciate not always accurate) they’ve said babies weight is normal but this sounds big to me? Has anyone else measured this?

From what I've seen on here it seems like a lot of babies are measuring around the same.

My 35+6 scan baby weight was 6lbs 14ozs

Also had mine today and I’m 35+4 and baby is weighing 6lbs 3oz was told he was a little bit but not too big if that makes sense? Xx

I had a scan at 36 + 5 and and baby was weighing 6lb 6oz xx

I’m 35 weeks and not been told about a growth scan? How do you get one or who can I talk too? xx

Hey. I only had one as I went in for reduced movements, otherwise I don’t think you can have one unless you have a private scan or measuring small or big xx

My 36+1 scan was 5lb 12oz x

Got another one tomorrow at 36+6 x

At 36+4 my boy was 5.8lbs but you shouldn't compare too closely with others. It will all be dependant on your height and BMI.
I am very short and petite and my boy is only on the 14th percentile so he's quite small x

you only need growth scans if you're high risk. This can be for many reasons, medical conditions, gestational diabetes, high BMI or reduced movements. If you don't have them, it's normal x

I only get them as my baby is transverse and I’m having a c section xx
the hospital I attend offer them to all but this isn’t the case for every area and people only tend to be offered if high risk

Okay thank you for responding ☺️x

i'm only getting one as my last baby was over 10 pound,2 weeks lste & ended in a emergency c -section.
I'm also suffering from a slight internal prolapse due to the pressure of the baby so i told them i'm not making a birth plan until i know the size!

aww bless you I hope all goes well for you this time round not long now 🥰 this is my first pregnancy so wouldn’t be sure on what seems normal weight at your stage in pregnancy x

dont know but if they say she's gna be huge like her brother i'll be saying book my slot into theatre!
She'll be a sun roof baby & no way out of my hoo haa at that size.My son was the biggest baby on the ward the after math of stitches doesnt bear thinking about x

I’m 35+4 and had a scan today, baby is 7lbs 7oz but is considered big, so I will be having an induction soon

36+3 and had growth scan today been told she's weighing 6lb9oz and that she's dead on the 50th centile for me, and if she continues growing at this rate being born at 40-41 weeks she'll weigh a perfectly healthy 7lb8oz ish x

I had one 35+ 4 and 5lbs 11 - days 37th percentile. Although on the chart it looks bang in the middle

I’m 34+1, 5.8lbs and baby is on the 50th Centile!

35+1 and 6lbs so happy with that and they were 2 having a c section at 39+2 xxx
