Biting at Nursery

No but mines been bitten twice and honestly personally I know it could quite easily be him/ the other way round so I feel you and I think most parents will understand it’s a phase they go through

I've been on both sides of this.

Does kiddo bite at home? If so, that's where you need to tackle the problem. Addressing it AND figuring out the cause. My daughter would bite for attention or if she was frustrated. We worked on it with simple "no biting" and redirection. We also helped our daycare understand what was triggering the biting so they could help head it off as well. Consistency is key.

Now, as a parent of the kid that is getting bit, I can tell you that my response was, "It happens. Kids bite." I made sure daycare is watching the interactions between my daughter and the kid who is biting. But I also made sure to ask them if my daughter is instigating the biting (she's sassy, I can see her starting it) so I can make any necessary behavioral interventions.

It is a phase and will pass, I've found good communication all around is helpful to ease my mind.
