Sleepwear for bedroom 20C

Now that’s it’s suddenly freezing 🥶 im worried my LO will either be too cold/ too hot with what im putting her to bed in.

Bedroom is usually around 20C and she’s wearing long sleeve pjs and a 2.5 tog sleeping bag. I hope she’ll be warm enough…. Im in bed with pjs, fleece hoody, massive duvet and my cat 😆

What is everyone else dressing their LO in at night if bedroom temp is 20C. I know there’s charts but I still wonder if they’ll be cold still… 🤯

We’ve gone to vest/sleepsuit and sleep bag 2.5tog! Because in the early hours temp drops to 19’.
Just ordered a sleep sack with arms!!

We keep our room at 22C during the night and my son sleeps with a vest on and a footless onesie or long sleeved pyjamas. He doesn’t like a blanket or sleeping bag and just sleeps on top of the covers in the middle of our bed. He sleeps through so I imagine at 20C and a 2.5tog bag this will be fine. If she’s cold she will wake up then you could try a vest under her pjs xx

We keep the heating on at around 22C as little one doesn't like a blanket. He sleeps in a long sleeve vest and sleepsuit in his cot x

yeah I’ve been keeping an eye on the baby monitor at the temp. You doing short sleeve or long sleeve vest? It’s gone cold so quickly I feel so unprepared 😆

yeah I guess if she’s cold she’ll soon tell me by waking up crying. I think jf it get any colder I’ll try a short sleeve vest and go from there… can’t believe how cold it’s gone to quickly.

I know! It only feels like yesterday that it was too hot to sleep! Xx

Dropped to 17 last night, lo is in short sleeved vest, long pjs and 2.5 bag.

Short sleeve vest! Our baby monitor alerted me to 18’ at 5.30am!
It definitely dropped cold quickly..

I’ve ordered a love to dream suit with arms for it getting colder. Our house doesn’t really drop past 18’.

I'm doing short sleeve vest, sleep suit and 2.5 tog. Just ordered a 3.5 tog for when it gets colder too and will then also put a long sleeve vest on xx

Been dressing our little one in short sleeve vest, sleepsuit and 2.5 but he’s been waking twice in the night quite upset (assuming he’s cold as nothing else happening at the minute, she says 😵‍💫😂). His room is around 18 so I’m going to try him in a long sleeve vest tonight and see if that helps!

Also going to buy a sleeping bag with arms and a 3.5 for it getting colder. Our house keeps the warm in but trying to hold off on the heating, cost of living and all that 😃😂

My little one had been in just a vest and babygrow. I bought a 2.5tog sleep bag with feet/foot covers last week as we are currently in Scotland so bit colder up here, she sleep well for most of the night. She also hates anything restricting her legs so these sleep bags have been perfect for her

When did you circumcise your baby?
If you DID NOT or DO NOT have a circumcised son DO NOT comment this post is not for you!

Did you wait a certain amount of time or have it done immediately?
Again respectfully, this is only for the parents who choose to do so.
opinions about how not necessary it is will not be appropriate for this post. Thank you in advance. 🩵

Can someone pls help i keep making this post and nobody is responding

My boyfriend booked a trip for us to go to mexico for a week as my push present. I have severe anxiety leaving my 7 month old with my mom. I know she will be in good hands but she’s exclusively breast fed for the most part but accepts bottles just fine. i have all my pumping parts packed and will pump when baby normally eats but i don’t want baby to forget me or have latch issues when i return!! any mommas ever experience this?

Vanilla extract

Has anyone used alcohol free vanilla in their babies formal to help them drink?
I’m 100% sure my baby refuses her bottles as she doesn’t like the taste of it!

Just anxious to try it, don’t want her to get used to it and then refuse bottles again after two weeks of using (correct me if I’m wrong but I’ve read you use it for 2 weeks max)

TIA 🙂

Sex post C section

Hi ladies I’m 4 weeks 5 days postpartum and I had a C section. I’m not bleeding properly anymore just some brownish discharge stuff that starts on and off. I’d like to do the deed with my partner; is it okay to do so or shall I wait the full 6 weeks. I feel up for it but also worried because the advice is 6-8 weeks.

Postpartum

I’m only 3 days postpartum (FTM) and already have extremely bad anxiety. I’m crying every night, as I think of another night of no sleep. My baby will not settle in his cot, he cries every moment we put him down unless in his chair rocker. So me and my partner are having to alternate after 3/4 hours of being awake with him downstairs. I’m trying everything to get him to settle. It’s a load of overwhelming stress. I’m 23, I was desperate for a baby and now I have one and feel completely useless. I miss it just being me and my partner.

I feel like just a milk cow

Hi I have a 16 day old via c section, I'm a FTM never having been around babies before as I am the youngest of my household and from a small family. My husband is fantastic with our little one. But ever since I've had the baby I just feel like the only thing I'm good for is producing milk. I feel disconnected from my husband like the only reason he's around is because am producing milk. We were having some issues before the baby and we're struggling it took a while to feel like he was onboard even though he said he was from the moment we found out. I dunno if I'm feeling like a spear part because I'm lacking confidence with baby or because I feel like he wouldn't mind being a single dad. Is this postpartum hormones or something else?
