Iron Infusion

Hey! I have had 2 of these so far. It was honestly fine, I was so nervous as well and cried when they put canula in (needle phobic) it lasted around 15 mins and was fine. I didn’t feel too rubbish to be honest afterwards just a bit tired the next day I think I’d tired myself out from being worried. you spend more time waiting around afterwards to check you’re not feeling funny or anything than the actual infusion. I had to have two infusions after the birth of my son because I lost a lot of blood, the only side effect I had was that they gave me diarrhoea, otherwise was fine x

I had mine about a month ago. Feel so much better since. I was on the drip for 1 hour, bit tired afterwards bit nothing else. It will be fine and you'll feel better for it x

I didn’t have any side effects

I had mine about 2 weeks ago it was absolutely fine. Your arm might ache a bit from where they put the needle in but it goes really quickly.

Thank you everyone. It took just over an hour and other than being tired and having a sore cannula sight, I feel fine 😁
