Hi mamas. I’ve been going back and forth on posting this for a bit because I don’t want this to come across wrong or seem like mom shaming. This comes from a place of genuine concern, so please only look at it through that perspective.
There’s a mom that I keep seeing pop up, she posts on a new group each time, she’s got 2 kids (almost 3 years old and 2 months old). She’s openly admitted that her MIL (boyfriends mom) abused her non-verbal, possibly autistic almost 3 year old on multiple occasions, she says she’s struggling financially (said that she only owns 1 shirt and 1 pair of shorts), but still trying to have another baby 2 months postpartum. She did state at one point that she’s disabled (to what extent, I don’t know), and that her bf Autistic and is disabled as well. She made many posts regarding trying to get pregnant again, but confirmed that her doctor did blood work and it’s negative, yet keeps bringing up cravings and implantation bleeding, etc. Lots of random pieces of information keep popping up with each new post.
The reason I’m writing this is because I’m genuinely concerned about her mental state and the safety of her children. People give advice on her posts and she blatantly ignores it unless it aligns with her wants (if someone says the pregnancy test is negative, she ignores it or shows the one pregnancy test that she got that said positive, but comments back only if someone says it’s positive). She posted a photo of her baby crying in a hospital vomit bucket as a bathtub, inside of a metal sink with the baby’s head on the mental sink. She put up a video of her bf being verbally abusive to their kids. I just don’t know if there’s anything we can do as a community to support this mama and help get her actual resources. Again, none of this is meant to shame in any way shape or form, I am actually concerned.

Is she a genuine person?
What I mean is there’s loads of fake posts on here that are people just needing attention. I don’t mean that in a horrible way but you see a question and they get no reply so write it again with a bit of drama and then they get replies.
There’s so many anonymous posts asking the most obvious of questions or “I think I many be pregnant cos I feel sick, what do you all think?” Obviously you need to take a proper test!
It’s a shame people are this way and it’s great that this group gives them the attention they are lacking in their personal lives though.
If this person is genuine then I’m not sure what you can do to help them other than encourage them to seek help at their end.

I'd she keeps posting things. Maybe see if u can comment and get things out if her like where she lives, towns name etc. Not all in one Comme t of course but fish. Then contact child services in that area. There's not much we can do I feel here bc it's hard to keep ow where anyone is if not stated. She's probably looking for attention mostly, someone to talk to. Maybe give her a help line to talk with ppl about her issues or help in general.

Nothing you’ve described really warrants any child service intervention. Her being poor and wanting to have another child is ridiculous, yes, but it’s not child endangerment. Her wanting attention and possibly exaggerating her stories (true or not) is not child abuse. Her having two items of clothing isn’t bad parenting and neither is her clearly weird/different way of living. Her only replying to comments that favour her views is delulu but not really enough to get services involved. If you explained all of this to someone they would probably say ‘Okay…..So?’ You need hard evidence to accuse someone of being harmful to their children unfortunately.
She had put up a post about her MIL slapping her non-verbal 3 year old across the face and then in the comment section stated that it wasn’t the first time MIL had put hands on the child and even showed photos. Yet she continues to bring her children around this woman. She also put up a video on another occasion of her bf verbally abusing her and the children.
I’m honestly just trying to see if there are resources to assist her.
So she’s definitely a real person, but I think mentally she may need the attention and validation, or so it appears. She posts on MANY pages asking if the pregnancy test looks positive, but her doctor did blood work and it was negative, yet she’s still talking about cravings and her period being late, but she’s only 2 months postpartum, so I don’t think you can really know if it’s late yet since it hasn’t regulated.
I’m just worried that mentally she might believe that she needs to be pregnant in order to get positive attention. She said her two kids were by rape, not her boyfriend’s kids, but they’ve been together for 6 years. In my line of work I have seen folks put themselves in bad situations to get what they want, and I’m really hoping that’s not the case with her. She had posted once before that her boyfriend was threatening to get a vasectomy, I can’t recall the reason why though.
I had tried reaching out via message, but she never responded to me.
I can see the city/ state she has listed, I just wasn’t sure if anyone else was familiar with her posts and may know her personally. I tried reaching out to her via message, but she never responded.

Even her MIL slapping her kids isn’t abuse. It’s not something I agree with or do personally but an adult slapping a child with the parents obvious knowledge isn’t abuse unless you’re saying she’s allowing her kids to be severely beaten up and abused. I’m just trying to say that, in my opinion, not agreeing with someone’s life choices doesn’t equate to that person should have their children taken away from them or something. I personally haven’t seen those posts but I’ve seen a lot of weird stuff on here which just shows me genuinely how different people are. She’s a weirdo 🤷🏾♀️ there are weird people around.
It actually is abuse, it leaves marks, it causes the child harm, the child is non-verbal and cannot advocate for themselves. I have friends who work in CPS/DCS. Our generation and those older than us always just saw it as discipline, but it’s not and it has quite lasting traumatic effects on children 😓
I’m not even saying to take her kids away though, just trying to find resources to help her. I don’t live in her state, so I don’t know what is available to her. I just wasn’t sure if others had seen her posts and maybe know her/ could assist with getting her connected with resources like parenting classes or free clothing drives, etc. I tried to message her directly, but she never responded.

I’m not disputing what you’re saying or disagreeing, I’m just pointing out that you would have a very hard time convincing anyone of anything really. Since you have friends who work in CPS maybe get their opinions on it? I just can’t imagine anyone really taking it seriously if you explained to them what you’ve explained on your post. That’s my honest opinion.
If your aim isn’t to take her kids away like I mistakenly thought based on you saying you fear for her kids safety, then what is it you want to do for her that she can’t do for herself that is also a necessity and not an opinion on how you think she acts/behaves?
