Hi! My baby is still taking three naps, 40 minutes in the morning, 1:30-2 hours at noon, and 40 minutes in the afternoon. She is not showing signs that she wants to stop the third nap yet, should I still start making the transition since she is going to be 9 months in two weeks, or should I wait until she herself shows me that she doesn't want to sleep?

Follow your baby's lead. We dropped the 3rd nap bc it was becoming impossible to get her down for that last nap and bedtime was getting really late!

thanks, that's what I thought! It's just that I've been hearing comments from my family saying that my baby isn't crawling yet because I don't give her enough time to crawl between eating and sleeping, but I just can't keep her awake if she's going to be crying annoyed

@Victoria baby isn't going to want to crawl or doing anything if they're cranky and tired !

Like Katherine we only dropped 3rd nap bc it became impossible to fit it in. I would agree with following baby’s lead!

Thank you, I will!

I had to drop 3rd nap a while ago cause his wake windows started getting longer and we couldn’t fit in another nap before bedtime or else he’d be up super late. If your baby is ready, they’ll let you know! Sounds like your LO is content with having the 3rd nap still. 🤗

My LO still his on 3 naps a day but is morning nap is much early than. Before and is last nap is from 2:30 the 3:15 and he goes down between 6:30 and 7 some days a little bit early if he doesn't get is noon nap

My son is 9 months I dropped the 3rd nap because he was going to sleep for bed really late around 11pm. He takes his 1st nap from 10am-12pm and the 2nd nap from 3pm -4pm. Him and my 2 daughters are all in bed by 9pm the latest he sleeps through the night. Our morning starts at 5am
