Piles (sorry)

I'm so sorry to ask this but Google just isn't giving me the answers I want ๐Ÿ˜‚

So I've been desperately hoping I would avoid piles, been taking lactulose when my bowels aren't playing ball regularly however I am now 36 weeks, I think baby has dropped so the pressure on my bowel and bladder is quite strong.

Despite my best efforts, there's definitely a visible pile. Has anyone successfully pushed them back in? I've read this is possible, just didn't want to cause more issues!

Thanks in advance, from someone who is now scared to poo ๐Ÿ’ฉ

I've had them for months now and they are just getting worse by the day ๐Ÿ™ˆ I'm 34 weeks. Been using the cream but doing nothing x

Theres not really much point in putting yourself through trying to push it back in before you have the baby, they tend to get worse/appear towards the end of pregnancy and during/after labour. All uou can do is try to ewt a balanced diet and look after yourself (as you already seem to be doing) and then after baby is born and you're recovering, your dr's can prescribe hemmroid/pile cream & pessiaries if needed for them. Sometimes they can go away on their own, but if not or if they start to bleed or get really sore while pregnant get yourself to the dr's to get checked over. Don't strain when going the loo either, sit and let it come naturally :)

@Bex thanks! And yeah I've not been straining, I'm very conscious of not sitting there long if nothing is happening but still managed to get piles, damn it. I'll hold off doing anything and just try to not make them any worse...fingers crossed anyway

You are also allowed to use anusol pessaries. They can help with shrinking them

Iโ€™ve found witch hazel was good for a few days but now Iโ€™m using coconut oil and aloe Vera gel to soothe pain.

Iโ€™m 37+ weeks pregnant and have just developed them too, and devastated ๐Ÿ™ˆ

Warm baths/ Sitz baths are supposed to help too and just adding more fibre into my diet so that hopefully I can alleviate them within 2 weeks before I have to give birth ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿผ

So glad someone else has asked, am 37+3 today and just noticed I have them ๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿ˜ข
Not currently causing any discomfort so am tempted to just leave and hope they clear and is just another glorious side effect of pregnancy ๐Ÿ˜‚
I eat pretty well (vegan diet so lots of veggies etc) I am also drinking more water now than pre-pregnancy and am less constipated in 3rd trimester than was in 1st so not sure how this has happenedโ€ฆ I do have a desk job so probably been sitting down too long ๐Ÿ™ˆ
My husband also tells me off for sitting on the toilet for too long when nothing is happening but itโ€™s my โ€˜chill timeโ€™ to just scroll through Facebook ๐Ÿ˜‚ ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ™‰

Vanilla extract

Has anyone used alcohol free vanilla in their babies formal to help them drink?
Iโ€™m 100% sure my baby refuses her bottles as she doesnโ€™t like the taste of it!

Just anxious to try it, donโ€™t want her to get used to it and then refuse bottles again after two weeks of using (correct me if Iโ€™m wrong but Iโ€™ve read you use it for 2 weeks max)

TIA ๐Ÿ™‚

Car seat crying

My 6 month old PANICS the second I put him in a car seat and screams, cries, chokes and recently even projectile vomited on a 14 minute drive. Itโ€™s gotten to the point I donโ€™t even bring him out unless itโ€™s to a doctors appointment. Iโ€™m a stay at home mom with no family in my state and it has been very isolating. Weโ€™ve tried 3 different car seats with no improvement. Has anyone had a baby who hated the car seat? Any advice? This started at 3 months. I will add it does seem worse when heโ€™s tired. He does cry on every trip though. He only contact naps and co sleeps so he reaches for me and will not sleep in the car seat.

Sex post C section

Hi ladies Iโ€™m 4 weeks 5 days postpartum and I had a C section. Iโ€™m not bleeding properly anymore just some brownish discharge stuff that starts on and off. Iโ€™d like to do the deed with my partner; is it okay to do so or shall I wait the full 6 weeks. I feel up for it but also worried because the advice is 6-8 weeks.

When did you circumcise your baby?
If you DID NOT or DO NOT have a circumcised son DO NOT comment this post is not for you!

Did you wait a certain amount of time or have it done immediately?
Again respectfully, this is only for the parents who choose to do so.
opinions about how not necessary it is will not be appropriate for this post. Thank you in advance. ๐Ÿฉต

Postpartum

Iโ€™m only 3 days postpartum (FTM) and already have extremely bad anxiety. Iโ€™m crying every night, as I think of another night of no sleep. My baby will not settle in his cot, he cries every moment we put him down unless in his chair rocker. So me and my partner are having to alternate after 3/4 hours of being awake with him downstairs. Iโ€™m trying everything to get him to settle. Itโ€™s a load of overwhelming stress. Iโ€™m 23, I was desperate for a baby and now I have one and feel completely useless. I miss it just being me and my partner.
