Anyone else order one of those special pregnancy seat belts that goes in between your legs instead of across your lap??
I just ordered one from Amazon for $18 I was just wondering if anyone else tried one yet??

Pretty sure they aren’t even approved…

Definitely not safe. Lauren the mortician posted a video about them. Just keep the belt below your belly

In an accident they can basically cut off circulation to your legs

Oh my God I didn't know any of this!! Just been seeing all the advertisements and commercials all over social media and whatnot. So y'all are saying this is a bad thing??

Ya I’ve heard that they are actually not safe, I thought they sounded like a good idea until I saw this video

look it up

Thank you, your video wouldn't play but I'm about to look it up!!

and they’re not approved so if you got in an accident you wouldn’t be covered

I had used one for my first pregnancy. It’s easy to use

Wow I didn’t know any of that. But I know I’ve heard of horror stories of pregnant women getting in a accident while wearing it correctly and losing the baby. I used one In My first pregnancy but luckily never got in an accident

Yes watch Lauren the mortician review on it. Definitely not safe and she gives details and scientific facts to back it up momma. It could destroy your pelvis and femur. Regular seat belt below the waist at mid pelvic area is best and safest for you and baby in the event of a collision

No don’t get. Those are dangerous. My sister was in a bad car accident. The seatbelt even though it saved her is what caused her injuries. Just bring the bottom belt under your belly.

It looks like a bunch grown women sitting in Giant Carseat!

And as far as seatbelts in general. I'm here to tell y'all I was in a car wreck 2 years ago, and I wasn't in a seat or had a seatbelt on. I was the passenger in a 1998 Chevy Tahoe, and I was in the "Trunk" area with all the luggage when I was coming from TN. to GA. before making it back to FL. The driver fell asleep at the wheel 30 minutes outside our motel room, and we spun 3 times and rolled 3 times. I had a 10 lbs car jack wedged under me. I knew nothing about the car jack either. That car jack should have moved from under me and smashed my head in and killed me. So my opinions on seatbelts and being in a seat from 1st hand experience, I'm a survivor of brused ribs, and my head got hit on the window behind me. So no, seatbelts and being in a seat are not always going to save you!

girl I almost quoted her too 🤣

geez!
