Journaling is often an overlooked coping skill, but it can be so beneficial. It goes beyond distraction (like with our phones, cleaning or other people) and causes us to think and express ourselves.
Here is a journal prompt to start. Feel free to journal on here, in the comments, in the notes section of your phone, or even an old school paper journal (if you are like me, I only have 20 laying around the house.)
