Help!😱

I don’t think that’s normal but I could be wrong. Have you tried talking to your midwife or calling your Gp/111?

Very odd because I keep getting nose bleeds too, apparently they are more common in pregnancy because of increased blood flow! Possibly the result of a nose bleed through the night and it has ended up gathering in your throat? (Nose and throat are connected after all) maybe still ask your midwife for peace of mind…currently writing this as I’ve just woken up with a nosebleed😂x

I had this in my last pregnancy not often but it happened a few times it’s meant to be normal due to all the excess blood but I’d still definitely contact your midwife x

I know right!! It’s just so strange and I worry about everything!! 😂

just want to come back and say that I’ve had ANOTHER nose bleed this morning😳probably the worst it’s been so far, I called my mum (because of course mums know everything🤣) however my mum also seems to think it’s pretty normal due to increased blood flow! And a bit of googling brought up the same result, so I’m not concerned but still ask your midwife if you are worried! Always better to be safe than sorry x

Could be bleeding gums?

Could it be your gums? I’ve had bleeding gums since the start and I’ve had this a few times. At 24 weeks I’ve JUST managed to get an appointment with my NHS dentist!! 🙄🙄 will die of blood loss when I get a scrape and polish I think!!!

sounds like it could have been a nose bleed then, maybe check in with your midwife about it! X

it’s fo strange! I thought that but nose seemed fine!

Could be your gums, you’re entitled to free dental care with the NHS when you’re pregnant so it might be worth having it checked there just in case. x
