Hello I’m 20 weeks pregnant and I’ve noticed I’m very clingy to my partner recently. He doesn’t mind at all. But if I get home before him I’m just sad and not interested in doing anything and I’ll wait for him to come home. I need us to go to bed at the same time, I get panicky if I wake up and he’s not there. We both work and that’s fine for a distraction but I start my day on a count down till we’re both home, and I have count downs for our next days off together. I also don’t relax until he’s next to me.
It’s very weird because I’ve never been like this our entire relationship but the further I get through the pregnancy the more I’m attaching myself to him. Again he doesn’t mind at all and if he wants to go see his friends ect I don’t make a fuss but he now tries to see his friends on my night shifts after I’ve gone to work so he can spend as much time as possible with me.
Like I don’t even think it’s a problem it’s just I don’t know if it’s normal 😅

Same thing happened to me during pregnancy. I’m an affectionate person especially if my partner makes me feels safe and reciprocates. But with my pregnancy I’m definitely a lot more clingy. Are you having a girl? The women in my family say it is very common to experience that kind of attachment to your spouse when you’re having a girl.

Also knowing how happy my partner has been about this pregnancy and supportive has made me fall in love with him even more. That could be it as well.

ohh we are having a girl ! I’ve never heard of that before. Yeah my partners been so amazing during the pregnancy and he’s so excited I love it! He’s even took a job that he works one day less so he can have more time with us.

I’m the same way! I’m having a boy though lol, but usually I’ll even tag along when he hangs out with his friends, but he usually doesn’t mind at all

I was the same way while pregnant, and even more so since giving birth last week. He has become my primary source of comfort since giving birth.

I was gonna say the same thing lol I was like that too and I was having a girl so I think that is true☺️
