Cotbed and duvet

My little boy is wakening up cold, hes cold to touch around 3-4am and refusing to go back in his cot so we then co sleep, I know they say no duvet until 12months but what is the difference in 3 months? I know they say it's because of suffocation but he's mobile so I'm sure he could move away from it.. I'm demented don't know what to do especially with colder nights coming in... He's in a long sleeve vest, sleepsuit, 2.5tog sleeping bag and two knitted blankets ( they have holes throughout so breathable)

Also I don't get how in 3 months time he can have upto 10tog on him with a duvet and just now he's on 2.5 🥶

Has anyone used a duvet yet...

Last night my son had a sleep suit on a 2.5 tog sleep suit on top and ended up needing no his duvet on at around 2am, I occasionally wake up because it is so cold so I check on him when I do wake up and he is always safe and ends up sleeping through if he has his duvet on all night. I think if you’re comfortable with it and if you think you can check on them to make sure they’re okay there shouldn’t be any problem with it (my son was born on the 13th of January so he has only just turned 9 months)

We haven’t used a duvet, our LG does laps of her cot in her sleep so I don’t think we’ll be using one for a while 😅 but her sleeping bag has sleeves for when it gets chillier. It’s only 2.5tog but I am sure the brand do 3.5tog ones as well. Defo worth a look, it’s Purflo x

8 week old in sleeping bag for first time as big enough! Do you feed your child in the night whilst in the sleeping bag or taken them out, feed then transfer back to sleeping bag before putting down?

Leaky nappy help

What nappies are you using to stop leaks?? We use pampers ultra dry size 5, and for the past few nights he has lashed through and we’ve had to completely change him during the night. Last night he leashed through twice!! He sleeps on his front and stays leaks through at the top of his leg where the tabs connect. Didn’t know whether to size up, he has a bit of a belly on him but he’s smack in middle of weight guidance so shouldn’t need too

Am I wrong?

I’ve been wanting to add more garden beds to my garden. Husband says “hey do you want to go to Home Depot to get that wood for the garden beds.” Cool I’m excited I’ve been wanting to get this done for awhile.

We get there and we’re picking out wood and I make 2 comments about how I don’t like how 2 pieces of wood look that he picked out. And he says if you’re going to be this picky then u can do this yourself.

I literally made 2 comments and mind you I’m the one paying for the wood.

I felt dismissed and like my opinion didn’t matter and if I wanted to have an opinion then I need to do it myself. Like what?

It was rude and not okay. Am I wrong? Am I overreacting?

He thinks it was fine that he said that.

My 6 month old makes no eye contact with me and doesn’t respond when I call him. Can this just be a phase or personality trait as apposed to autism

5.30am wakeups 😫😴

My 15 week old has started waking up about 5.30am and is really hard to settle back down - it’s like he thinks it’s time to wake up for the day. He used to go to bed at 9pm and was up at 8am but now he goes to bed between 7.30-8pm as he’s knackered by then but waking up at 5.30am😴. Any advice to get him to sleep a little longer in the morning?! Even an extra hour would be lovely 🤣
