I am thinking of starting to transition daytime naps to the cot in the nursery. Anyone that does this, can I ask, do you put little one in a sleeping bag & make the room dark? Thanks!

Yep I keep naps same as bedtime: blackout blinds, sleeping bag, white noise 😊

Sleeping bag 100% but keep room light so she knows it’s daytime x

Yes I do 😊

I try to for one nap a day in his big boy cot in his own room so he gets used to it. His baby monitor is on when I do this x

I’m in the same position, just worried that when we’re out and about she won’t then sleep in car or pram because she expects to be in her cot or next to me 🤔 plus she fights her sleeps in the day, kicks off straightens up her body has to be rocked then about 30 seconds of kicking off and her eyes shutting she’s off, so I’m scared she won’t settle in her cot and she’s sleeping through the night so I’m scared todo anything to ruin it! How is yours through the daytime naps? Xx

he quite often feeds to sleep in the day and if not usually a 30 min battle lol. He naps 3/4 times a day for 30 mins and atm sleeping 4 hours then 2/3 hours twice more in the night but been very touch and go with the regression! Thinking of also doing some self settle training and see how it goes as we are starting the transition from bf to formula xx

Yes. Sleep sack, sound machine and dark room.

My boy has his 2pm nap in his cot, I’m lucky that he just goes to sleep straight away and no need for it to be dark. X

Yes and rooms dark x

thanks hun!
