You are not alone, Mama. My baby will be 10 months in 3 days and still doesn't do any of those things. Doesn't wave, point, or clap. Sometimes, I feel like because I am always alone with him at home, he doesn't get enough stimulation. But I try not to worry and hope he reaches those milestones at his pace.

My baby claps cause my mom plays Patty Cake with him. But he doesn’t wave. He’ll reach for things but doesn’t point.

My baby is on the verge of clapping. He’ll put his hands together, but he doesn’t make any sounds yet. He does wave tho

I have a clapper but not a waver 🙃. He doesn't point either

The milestone for clapping is from 8-12 months! I would just work on it daily for a few minutes with baby. Mine clapped because we play patty cake with her. I wouldn’t stress too much!!

Mine does all the things and also still sleeps like garbage. They all hyperfocus on certain things a bit harder!! And sleep, that's just whenever they learn to do it lol it's all normal.

My baby just started clapping! He waves too but doesn’t know how to point yet. For clapping I would sing to him “if your happy and you know it clap your hands” several times a day and everytime he would do something good for example while we play or anything he would achieve I would exaggeratedly clap and be like “yaaayy good job”!!!

His daycare teacher gave us the tip of modeling waving as we see people…I tend to smile big and my husband is a hugger so that’s what he wanted to do when he saw ppl..since adding a wave in he has started to do a “wave” one night my husband just practiced clapping with him for hours and he started to do it but doesn’t always unless we prompt him 🤷🏽‍♀️

Induction?

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Baby names

My daughter‘s name is valentýna and I’m struggling to find other nice girl and boy names beginning with V I’ve got a few and I’ve got loads that aren’t beginning with V, but I feel like I wanna go for all vs and I also love girl and boys names that match so because my daughter’s name is valentýna I would love to call my son Valentino my husband does not agree 😃

Induction or c section?

As a last resort, would you rather be induced or have a planned c section?

Really not liking the thought of being induced from people’s experiences I’ve read!

Almost 37 weeks + told to do another growth scan

I just had my second to last doctor’s appointment this morning, and my OB told me she wants me to do another growth scan because my belly is measuring small. She says it’s probably just because I’m a smaller woman, but they like to be safe. It’s hard to hear though, since I just did one a couple months ago.

I did this with my firstborn around this time of pregnancy, so I do think I just carry smaller (even though I don’t feel like I look “small” at all). My first baby was 6lbs 15oz when she was born at 41 weeks + 2 days. I’m having this baby at 39 weeks on April 7. I hope she’s still at least 6lbs.

Anyone have any stories similar to this?
