High BP

I'm now 37 weeks and 4 days and up until yesterday my BP has been within the range they wanted. I've been monitoring at home like my doctor said and yesterday the bottom number went above twice. I figured it was because I was doing a lot of moving around but I just got out of bed from a nap and took it and it's even higher than yesterday. Almost at 100😨 I'm getting very scared at this point. If this continues would they induce me or go straight to a C-section? I'm a first time mom so I really don't know
I've also been having a headache on and off the past few days but it goes away and I'm prone to migraines anyway so idk

Can you write what the readings were exactly? I can’t interpret them when you said that it just went above. How much above matters 😉

I would definitely communicate with your provider, this sounds like it could be pre-eclampsia. At this point they would probably induce you! My sister had her baby last month through an induction due to pre-eclampsia at 37w6d and had a perfectly normal delivery and took her baby home the next day!

Damn I’ll be sitting doing nothing and mines at 120-130 over 80 and my doctor doesn’t seem worried

the highest was 134 over 93 and 125 over 97

that's what I was thinking, I called and asked them if I should be evaluated and they basically just dismissed everything and told me to wait for another appointment, which their earliest was Nov. 1st 😩

@Liz if it gets much higher than that you can always go to l&d to get a second opinion!

that’s really not high. They usually don’t want you to call until it’s 140/90-150/100

I didn't think it was originally but my regular ob said if the bottom passed 90 or the top passed 140 she'd be concerned so I feel like I keep getting mixed messages from my doctor's office

I was debating that but my hospital is so far away but you're right it might even give me peace of mind if it does keep rising

Im being induced on Monday at 37 weeks for high blood pressure. I’ve been to the hospital for monitoring a few times for high blood pressure my ob says as long as the top doesn’t go over 160 and bottom doesn’t go over 106

Yes what Brittany said 👆🏽 I just gone to the hospital yesterday and today for them to monitor me for my blood pressure being high like today it was 159/128 even though I took my high blood pressure medicine and baby aspirin. I’m supposed to be getting induced at 39 weeks(in 3 weeks) but that might change it probably be sooner

normal or infected?

5 weeks post c section , i went at the beginning of the week as my wound had opened completely different area to what’s leaking. was told it didn’t look infected. anyone know if this is normal coming off it, it’s only a little amount at a time

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Induction?

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Baby names

My daughter‘s name is valentýna and I’m struggling to find other nice girl and boy names beginning with V I’ve got a few and I’ve got loads that aren’t beginning with V, but I feel like I wanna go for all vs and I also love girl and boys names that match so because my daughter’s name is valentýna I would love to call my son Valentino my husband does not agree 😃

Induction or c section?

As a last resort, would you rather be induced or have a planned c section?

Really not liking the thought of being induced from people’s experiences I’ve read!

I am so done with pregnancy !

Everything i do hurt . I sit down / i stand up / i walk / i lie down. I am in pain ! I am tired ! His mouvement hurt down there like electricity chock ! My back is on fire ! If i walk more then 5 minutes i feel like i am going to die ( low ferritine) the acid reflux is crazy . I mean i can’t and don’t wanna do this no more . Only 31 weeks !
