My 4month old will not take a dummy. I’ve tried different shapes, silicone, natural rubber etc he just screws his face up and spits them out. If I hold them in he gags until it’s out!
He’s now struggling to fall asleep through the 4month regression and is desperately sucking on my hand, collarbone, arm, sometimes his own hands but not much. He’s belly is full, it’s the soothing he wants.
Anyone have any advice?

My girl just started taking a dummy at 9 months 🥲 but I only give it when we are home, in bed as I it's a hard habit to break. In the period though of not really wanting it the only one she really showed interest in for a few mins was tommee tippee orthodontic ones and now she uses a tommee tippee cherry latex soother.
I had every single dummy you can think of I kept giving them so often but I was mostly breastfeeding then and I think she just refused to use anything but me as a soother for so long until I stopped a month ago

I nearly gave up on the dummy but at 4 months I found this and Bubs finally took it it’s really small smallest dummy iv ever seen and that seemed to work for him

We use bibs which you can get at Priceline, my son only started taking a dummy at 3 or 4 months also and liked these ones shape

my baby has a little mouth so bigger dummies are just out of the question!
These are 0-2 months, what age was your baby when they took this?

he was 4 months and he kept that same size until nearly 8 months and then I sized up same brand. His 14 months now and still using the 6-12 months so I think he’s got a small mouth too
