Struggling with feelings of isolation and loneliness. Being an adult with adult friendships is hard enough, but adding a pregnancy seems so daunting. I’m halfway there with my sweet girl and her dad is involved, but I’ve never felt so alone and misunderstood in my life. Constantly having to go the extra mile to talk to people and do things nowadays is impacting my mental health. I miss feeling like my life was mine and people genuinely cared. Even some of my closest people have drifted from me. Hoping these feelings go away 😔

Completely understand you I have been experiencing the same. I’m grateful for my partner but it’s still so hard

My partner is my best friend, but I completely understand. You need others to talk about things that you can’t talk to your partner with, or someone to spend time with when they’re busy. It’s been very difficult, especially when it seems like he has so many friends and I feel as though I have none.

I feel exactly this. I hate feeling like most/all of my friends are his friends, and like I'm missing out when they do bro stuff or drink together. Pregnancy is isolating.

yesss! Everyone just drinks and smokes and it just makes me feel left out and a bit uncomfortable
My partner’s friends will ask him to go out and drink while I stay at home alone, he never goes. It’s just the fact no one ever takes what we are going through into consideration. Nobody ever asks if they can come over and hangout with me, I have to out of my way to see them. It really is just so isolating.

this is exactly what I’ve been dealing with & it’s very hard to describe and for people to understand ! I hope that we all come out of this on top with meaningful friendships/connections
