Yes, ebf and lots of wakes through the night here too. Nothing wrong, it's normal. My son just needs the support and comfort to get back to sleep. It's tiring but it won't be forever.

That’s what I keep telling myself but I feel like he may be hungry all the time because his naps in the day are all over the place too, a while ago he used to wake once in the night and have 1 2h morning nap and 1 1h afternoon nap and then suddenly now I’m lucky to get 1 30min nap out of him and if he wakes up 2/3 times in the night then that’s a good night

Yep same here! Had a random night this week where she slept 8:30-6:30 but I think she was just exhausted after two nights in a row of waking every 45-60 mins x

Breastmilk during the night actually increases the sleep hormone which helps your LO go back to sleep. But there’s lots of reasons as to why, it could be hunger, it could be comfort, it could be habit, if you nurse to sleep it’s just what they are use too. For whatever reason it’s all completely normal. My now 22MO has only just stopped nursing at all during the night. And she would awake up 3-4 times a night to nurse up until a few months ago. It is natural and normal to have frequent wakings for whatever reason. But if you want to track sleep and feeds etc.. huckleberry is amazing for that they help with medication too. And they have some great info on sleep on their website too.

my son goes down around 9-10 then wakes throughout the night and up for the day normally around 6 I don’t know how he does it on such little sleep then having next to nothing in the day x

I’m hoping to stop breastfeeding by 12 months because I want a bit more freedom back and sleep so his dad can get up with him or he can go and stay at his nans for a night but I also said this at 3 months and 6 months so we will see 😂

yeah, my goal was 12 months and then when it got there I couldn’t stop 😂 I’m hoping to stop at 2 but she is obsessed 😂. Managed to get it down to 2/3 feeds a day now and she starts school in January which I hope helps 🤞🏻 lol but I wouldn’t worry about the night feeds, it’s just natural and concerns show me you’re an amazing mother ♥️

my little one has low sleep needs too. I was putting her to bed earlier but I’ve found she does sleep better if I push bedtime back to past 8:30 and she will fall asleep as soon as I put her sleeping bag on, rather than fighting it. You probably can’t push your bedtime back any later though! I’ve started combi feeding recently and I’m trying to switch to formula for the last feed but she just keeps trying to pull my top up to get to my boobs 😂 x

Baby is a 1 and wakes up in the night still, she sleeps for 2 5-20 minutes naps during the day! Then her last name which is usually between 3/5pm about.an hour if I'm holding her but only about 30 if I put her down asleep! So.feeding, naps, food.etc it's all all over the place atm!

what temp is her room/ what does she sleep in exactly as it now thinking the wakes could be temp related as he sleeps in a vest and sleepsuit in 20oc bedroom I’ve never been able to get his room the right temp and when I go into him sometimes he’s freezing but I put a blanket on him and he kicks it off but I feel like a sleeping bag may be a waste of money as he’s a wriggler so restricting him might just cause major tantrums xx

Last night her room was 18 and she was in a vest, sleepsuit and 2.5tog sleeping bag. She’s a wriggler but has always slept in a sleeping bag x

So potentially he’s in too little so I could get a 1 or 1.5tog sleep suit and put that on with everything else x

Yup my LG is having about 3/4 feeds a night as boob is the only thing that will resettle her at the moment 😭

I would add a sleeping bag. 1-1.5tog is good for that temp, and the 6-18 month size is really roomy, my girl travels all over the cot in her sleep 🤣 I find it’s a helpful sleep cue for her

I may have to get the outfit one because he likes to get up so if he did and fell I’d never forgive myself and because he’s never been in one he wouldn’t understand x

In this camp! LO still waking 3-5 times a night to feed. I wonder when it will ever end but at the same time we are doing the best thing for them. Some need more support than other babies to go back to sleep and like the touch point and comfort in the night. It feels hard, but I know we won’t regret supporting them and making them feel safe when we look back on it in years to come 🥰
