Hormonal Inbalance/postpartum bleeding
Hi, I’m currently 14 weeks PP I had the usual bleeding for 4 weeks then it stopped. I went on the depo-provera injection at 4 weeks PP. I started lightly very lightly bleeding at 9 weeks PP every day until 10 weeks PP. Since 10 weeks it’s been very heavy with a lot of clots (heavier than my initial postpartum bleeding after my c-section) so now I’ve been bleeding every day for the last 7 weeks in total. I’m also constantly sweating, I spoke to the gp twice who just keep saying it’s normal but will book a blood test as may be hormonal. Has anyone had a similar situation and could advice please as this amount does not seem normal and it’s making me very depressed.

Depo injection can cause that. Have you been on depo before? You can be lucky and it stop your periods all together, or it can cause heavier than usual bleeding
Yes was on it for 2 years prior to this baby and 8 years prior to having my 1st. I had it stopped periods before but can it cause bleeding for this longer and it just keeps getting heavier xx
