Baby Movement 33 Weeks 🩷

Just wondering if anyone else is feeling the same.

Currently 33 weeks. Baby girl is still moving etc 🙏🏼🩷 but her movements are changing. Instead of lots of hard kicks and jabs it’s more lighter rolls, pushes, the odd harder jab, etc. also at the moment feeling a lot down at the bottom of my belly and pushes/pressure into my ribs. My midwife said baby was head down the other day so I think it’s due to her positioning. I also have anterior placenta. She did also mention that now at this stage movements can feel different.

Just wondering if anyone else is feeling this too or if I should be worried that the movements feel different?

Not long left now for all of us mummas🙏🏼🩷

I’m 31 weeks today and was wondering why my baby’s movements feel a bit different. Just feels like he’s moving around instead of full on kicking. So I think mine has moved positions, but if you’re ever too worried can always visit triage just to make sure the baby’s okay😊

The force of baby's kicks will peak around 28 weeks, after this baby's movements should stay the same frequency but the force of the kicks will decrease as there is less and less room in there to move ❤️

I’ve had the same since baby was head down ♥️

Yes exact same for me since about 30 weeks, he’s also head down. People kept saying ‘wait until you get past 30 weeks the movements are unreal’ but I actually found the movements before a lot more!! He was like a little boxer in there!! Now just rolling and the odd limb sticking out and pushing etc. he’s still very active but just feel like smaller movements! He’s definitely got less room, he feels massive and my bump is all baby. Midwife said it’s completely normal and as long as I can feel him and get to know his pattern of movements (which I do) then don’t worry. I’m 34 weeks on Tuesday xx

I'm 34 weeks with an anterior placenta too. I've noticed since about week 30 that she doesn't tend to kick now, it's definitely more rolling and stretching. She's been head down since our 32 week scan too. I Think it's down to positioning and they must be running out of room in there haha! X

It's very different now but frequency is the same, my son has been head down at the last 3 exams but his butt is still waving in the wind like a flag so he's got a bit of room still! I'm week 32

I’m week 34 and I feel the same change in my baby girl’s movements. I think it’s a sign that they’re gradually running out of room and getting ready to meet us ♥️

Avatar

Yep feeling very different. Still get the odd kick and punch, but it’s more knees and elbows now. Lots of shoving and general movements that looks like an alien living under my skin 😅

Avatar

They may feel different and your tummy may move in like a wave motion but the pattern should still be the same. If there is a change in the pattern then that’s when you should definitely get checked xxx

Avatar

Yeah I’m the same, anterior placenta and 33 weeks this week. She’s gone from distinctive kicks to full on body rolls and swooshing from side to side rather than thumps. And hiccups, lots of hiccups which considering she is head down feels bizarre.

I’m glad you’ve posted this as I’m 32 weeks and been feeling the same way 💕

Looks like we’re all in the same boat!!! My girl doesn’t seem to have a pattern, she just moves when she wants 😂🤣 makes it so much harder to identify if there’s any reduction! It’s so reassuring to know we’re all feeling the same 🩷🩷

im 33 weeks my girls the same. but i am getting more pressure absolute crotch punches and my ribs have started getting tickled😂 so if that is now also happening to you your baby is growing and completely fine ❤️

Avatar

oh yeah the pressure in my ribs is insane sometimes 🤣😂 it’s like she’s dancing on them or something 😂 xx

Avatar

As baby gets bigger they don’t have as much room to give big kicks as such so will just be more gentle movements

Avatar

I’m 33 I’ve been waiting to see an arm or leg or something move across my stomach but I’ve just getting more rotations or kicks on my side more. Think due to positioning

Avatar

I get some fairly good kicks in the side!! Today she’s done it a couple of times, almost worried me that it was (frantic or something) too hard and too many kicks in a row but she has been moving normally since. These babies love to play with us 🤣🩷 xx

33 weeks and yes the exact same as what you’ve posted! ☺️

Pregnant with baby 2

Hi everyone! I gave birth via emergency c section 9 months ago as my baby boy was measuring big, he pooped inside so there was risk of him inhaling it and I wasn’t progressing past 3cm to have a natural birth and now I’m currently 20 weeks pregnant with my 2nd baby. I’m having a consultation on Tuesday to talk about birth options and to have any questions answered but I don’t know what to ask. I feel like it would be safer having a c section again but at the same time I don’t want a c section. Does anyone have any question ideas I could ask or any advice/stories of similar situations. Tia

I have a feeling like I might get attacked from this but I’m going to say it anyways. incognito 🥸 GLP1s being mainstream for regular people who are NOT diabetic or morbidly obese is bad for so many reasons 💉💉💉

Side affects, long term dependency, supply shortages and costs, regaining the weight back as soon as you get off them.. all that ASIDE how do people not see just from a zoomed out perspective how crazy it is. I can’t imagine being someone facing food insecurity in an underdeveloped country and watching westerners give themselves daily jabs so they can lose weight while still eating a calorie surplus/ crappy foods. It’s giving hunger games when district 12 Katniss finds out at the party at the capital that people eat and then take a pill to make themselves sick so they can 🤮 and eat some more. These ads running ozempic everywhere are disgusting, and then getting amazing athletes like Serena Williams to push them talking bout “i’ve never been healthier” girl you were an OLYMPIC athlete wym??

Planned c section

Has anyone had a planned c section and been home the same day?

Getting pregnant after c section

When did you get pregnant again after a c section? Our plan was always to have 2 under 2 but that is now out the window because I had an emergency section. I know they say 18 months and we will be sticking to it (as much as I don’t want to) but I’m curious how quickly you got pregnant after your section?

Movements

I’m 28 weeks tomorrow. Yesterday I had loads and loads of movements but today I have only felt small flutters and a couple of kicks throughout the day. I get so confused as some people say they don’t have a pattern but others say they do. We have a Doppler so used it this evening and could hear the heartbeat and then moving but does anyone else get quieter days of movement than others? I am seeing my midwife tomorrow so will check but just find myself getting anxious about it and don’t know when to get checked. I know they encourage it but last time as soon as I got to triage baby started moving loads!
