My daughter has had one nap since about 13/14 months. For the past few days she’s been refusing it, she usually goes down around 11 but the past few days she hasn’t slept till 1, she gets up at 7 so she’s been doing 6 hour wake windows in the morning when she used to do 3/4 max. Yesterday it got to 12:30, she had been in her cot for an hour and a half just talking to herself or having little cries here and there, so I got her out and had to put her to sleep in my arms which still took about half an hour! Today she’s been in her cot again for an hour and a half and is just straight up refusing to sleep, I really don’t wanna get her used to falling asleep on me. She seems so tired so I’m just not sure what’s going on!!?

I use to love it when my little one napped in her cot, unfortunately she randomly stopped around 10 months old 😞 Have you tried pushing her in a pram? I put my LG in a pram with some lullaby music on low and lay her completely flat. She goes off for around 1-1.5 hours around 12:15ish.

she’s been napping in her cot for months now! The same as bed time, I just put her in and walk out and she goes off. I used to put her in her pram to nap but it just doesn’t work well for us as my family are always in and out of the house and I have a dog who barks a lot. Just hoping this doesn’t last long 🙈 she’s still awake, just chattering away in her cot 😩

Hopefully it passes for you soon!! 🥰 my little girl hates cots for naps but at night can put her down and walk out 🫣😂

Maybe just try putting her down later, could be she isn’t tired enough to nap after 4hrs now?
My little one usually wakes at 6/6.30 and naps at 12/12.30 x

I would just push out the wake window and put her down later. Mine gets up around 6:30 and she has her nap at 12.
Used to be 11:15-11:30 when we first dropped to 1 nap around 14 months a shes now 16 months so makes sense it’s longer

mate, been going through the same! My little boy decided to change his wonderful 2 nap a day routine, down to one beautiful 3 hour nap then down to near refusal to go down at all!
I can let you know it does pass. He is 15 months now and is back to a good 2-2.5h nap in the middle of the day generally. It sounds likely a phase to me?
I did try taking him to the park/play group or soft play to let him just tire out. This did sometimes go the other way though and he ended up overtired 😅. The regression from what I understand is because they go through a massive learning leap. I thought of it like he was excited about learning new words, play and just wanting to be awake because sleeping is boring!
Don’t worry too much about her falling asleep on you or getting into ‘habits’. I did the same and you just deal with what works as it’s inevitably gonna change again soon anyway! You sound like you’re doing everything right to me!

To be honest between 12:45 and 1 is quite normal now and should usually be for two hours so I would just put her down later. My LO is the exact same she goes to sleep at 12 if awake at 6am and 1 if awake at 7am
