My son was in for 158 days, born at 26 weeks. Healthy 21 month old now.

My son was! He’s thriving now :) 4.5 months old now

Like was it hard to have y’all baby early

@Kiara there's definitely a grieving process for not being able to finish the pregnancy and not leave the hospital with your baby. The nicu has great resources and I highly recommend using them.

It was hard on me physically & mentally bc I felt my body failed her & I was really sick. I went from having 2 months to prepare, to “you’ll be induced today” so I wasn’t prepared for her. I definitely wasn’t prepared for how she looked & connecting to her with so many rules.. But once I realized she was in the best place she could be, it got better. I do recommend getting yourself some rest at home if possible

My son was born at 37 weeks 4 days at 4lbs 9oz he was in for a month and a half he’s perfect at 4 months old hitting all his marks

it was scary at first but no it wasn’t hard for me

My baby boy was born 35 weeks 3 days weighed 9lbs 2oz at birth he was in the nicu for a few weeks he had a broken clavicle during labor and his lungs were a little small and he had swallowed a lot of fluid during labor had a hard time breathing he was placed on a breathing machine and it was hard the nurses and doctors were so supportive and there for me. It’s tough but you have support and babies are resilient. I’m also a single mom so I had no one else for support besides the nurses and doctors
