At 8.01 when I finally got onto the Dr's phone line I'm caller number 28!! The chances of actually getting an appointment now are low. I have the online services but it doesn't show any appointments. My 2 year old has been ill with a sick bug for a week now lost weight and needs to be seen this is crazy something needs to change. This is why hospitals are so full of people who don't really need to be there because they can't get seen elsewhere ahhhh

I know the feeling! Most of the times the phone either just rings and nobody picks up, or it's says that the line is busy! If it helps at all, I got so frustrated that I started going to the doctors surgery for before 8am when they open. Realised there is usually a line of about 20-30 people queuing trying to get appointments. They literally start queuing at 7.30 or something and will get appointments first. It actually worked for me. If there is any way you are able to pop to the surgery physically ( maybe tomorrow ) and stand in a line, you will get a better chance of getting an appoitment. I know it might be difficult with the little 2 year old who is unwell but worth a try? It's ridiculous there are no appointments available online! 🙈
Otherwise if your little girl is still unwell and you can't stand it and it's not getting better, I would recommend calling 111 and telling them you can't get doctors appotiment. They've also always helped me, usually on the day.
Fingers crossed 🤞

Omg don’t even get me started, I went to the drs because my baby has oral thrush, the dr prescribed a medicine no pharmacy can get hold of, so I had to call back up for it to be changed, I asked Friday she said it would be ready for Saturday … it’s now Monday the pharmacy told me to chase it with the dr as it hasn’t been changed … I was on the phone for an hour and 47 mins trying to get to speak to the receptionist for her to tell me they haven’t done it… she said it would be done this afternoon … I called the pharmacy still nothing … it’s been 4 days how is this acceptable. I was number 47 in the queue

Oh my goodness, dont get me started!!!!. The receptionists, well, they can be quite rude, don't you think? To be honest, it's rather baffling that they keep constructing so many houses with just one GP for such a large population. I just don’t understand 🥲
