Hi everyone, I’ve been trying to get my LO to feed from a bottle for over a month, with very little success. I wonder if anyone has skipped bottles and gone straight to a sippy/ straw cup at 4 months?

I sort of did with my first. He never took a bottle very well, it was more like dribbling it in his mouth until he swallowed enough. But at 6 months we started using the EZPZ training straw cup for water and he would take milk from that like a champ if I was out.

What type of bottle are you using? Mine didn’t like the dr brown or Philips. Only one he likes is the mam

Right there with you. We’ve tried como tomo, mam, dr. Browns, Phillips avent, evenflo. She just spits it out. At this point I’m just hoping she takes the sippy cup well and will probably start trying soon if pediatrician oks it. (This is my first baby so I’m always scared to start something before asking her doctor first 😂)
same! Mine won’t spit it out, she starts biting it and doesn’t latch on at all. I guess I’ll ask the pediatrician too and hopefully start with a cup soon if I get the green light
browns, medela, avent, evenflo. She doesn’t hate the bottle, just doesn’t latch on

😞 someone should create a cup for babies that don’t like bottles.

Straw cup fat better than sippy cup. Straw is better for development

I agree. My baby dislikes bottles!
