Hi moms! Has anyone had an elective c section.. I have an ecv due tomorrow as baby is still breech. idk what to expect. But I think to mentally prep myself for a c section if it does go this way. Tbh Idk why I’m even trying for vaginal when I have such a fear of anyone going near down there 😂
Any tips advice or support would be appreciated.

I've had a vaginal delivery and an elective csection. For me, the elective section was much calmer and I came out of it with a better mental health.
But my first vaginal birth was very traumatic, so that's just my experience. My second was laid across so I had an elective section, but would have requested one anyway.

I had an ECV which was uncomfortable but absolutely fine. I used gas and air.
Baby didn’t move so opted for a c section and pushed back to 40+5 to allow as much time to turn. I tried everything but it wasn’t meant to be. C section was the last thing I wanted but it was so positive and calm.

I had an elective c section and I’d never even consider any other way, it was everything I wanted my birth to be and my recovery wasn’t bad at all 🤍 I will say do your research, consider all options and do what feels best for you regardless of others opinions ☺️

I had a elective it was nice they let me chose the music that played while in surgery
