Hi mamas, those are looking to stop breastfeeding/ exclusively pumping after 6 months, how are you preparing yourself physically and mentally?
I honestly cannot wait as my personal journey has been very rough and I have been sticking it out for my girl. I still feel guilty when I shouldn’t really as how much it’s impacted my mental health already. Any tips/ advice welcome 🙏🏼 thanks !

Following as I am in the same boat, exclusively pumping and wanting to wean off when little one starts weaning but still feel guilty! Can’t shake illnesses I am so run down so definitely needed!

I am exclusively pumping and can’t wait to drop my 3.30am session! As soon by baby 6 months will do gentle dropping some pumping sessions and reducing time. Will gradually introduce to formula. I managed to stack some milk in the freezer too. I am tired of wearing breastfeeding bra and leaking milk. 6 months are more than enough, friends around me only managed to feed a month or too so I am really happy for my boy that I stayed for so long already.

it’s the 3am pump I cannot wait to drop too! 🤣
I know right ? It’s so draining and has crazy impact on what you can even do when you are exclusively pumping every 3-4hrs. I keep telling myself I’ve so far one more month to go!!
lol 2:30am for me. I haven’t managed to stack any as I do not produce enough. Are you planning to hit 6 months and then drop or would you be starting earlier ?

You just feel like you are constantly clock watching!! Yeah I’m exactly the same! I told myself if I got to 8 weeks I’d be happy then just keep saying 1 more month until he is weaning. We are nearly there!
exactly! It’s not talked about enough! I am glad I am not alone ❤️ we got thjs 💪🏼

My times are 3:30, 7, 10, 13, 16 and 22. I will try to drop dream feed just before 6 months as I am worried my baby won’t sleep until 7am otherwise. Will start reducing as soon we are 6 months as he drinks 6times/ 160ml per feed and my freezer stack won’t last long as my night and morning supply always tops up daily ones.
