Help!!

My baby is 4 months and three weeks.

She isn’t sleeping in the afternoon past an hour and she is awake the rest of the time.
Is this normal?
Is this how it should ?
Any one babies sleep patterns change?
I read babies should be awake for just 2-4hours in the day. She is strictly breastfed.

My baby is 4 months and 2 weeks and she is sleeping nice long periods overnight but will only nap for around 30-45 mins at a time at the moment. She’s having 4 naps in the day so is getting about the same as this. She has been following 1 hour and 30-45mins wake windows and seems to be doing fine with this. I believe babies of this age should be getting around 15 hours sleep in a 24 hour period (Im just going by research I have done myself but its working for us🤞🏻)

That’s honestly complete rubbish.
All babies have different sleep needs and thresholds.
Keep eyes out for sleepy cues, little one will tell you when they need to sleep 🥰

Not sure where you read they should only be awake for 2-4 hours, but it’s untrue!

Our LB is 5 months old and naps for about 3 hours a day, and his night sleep is between around 7pm-6am. Every baby is different though. Are you actively trying to get her down to nap when she is showing signs of being tired? X

thank you

yes. I try to get her to nap when she is tired, but she ends up sleeping for less than an hour. I felt maybe i wasn’t carrying her enough. So I tried to hold her to sleep but its been the same thing. But thanks. I just want to be sure I wasn’t doing something wrong.

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

Colostrum storing?

Has anyone successfully extracted colostrum before the baby’s born? Apparently it gets produced from 16w pregnant and you can start storing it in the freezer but I’m 34w looking at my nipples and the syringes on amazon wondering how it works?? Like what did you use and did it hurt? 🥲

4 month bed time

What time do you put your babies to bed?
What time do you start your 'routine?'
My LO currently goes to bed around 10.30pm, and I know i need to start bringing it forward. Everytime ive tried, it takes longer for my LO to settle.
We are exclusively breastfeeding. Any advice Mamas?

Combi feeding advice

Has anyone gone from EBF to combi feeding? Currently do one bottle of EBM per night and they one half formula half breast milk mixed in the day. The other times she still feeds on me. Ideally I want to feed all day via bottle and all night with breast. She’s 7 weeks and takes a bottle well, how long should I leave it before adding another bottle to her daily routine?

Baby losing weight

Hi all, it's been a long time since I had a baby (my son is 15!). My daughter is 10 days old and was 9lb born, she has since lost weight at every appointment and is at a 12% loss. I am breast feeding every two hours for over an hour and topping her up every feed. I pump and can get 60ml in 10 minutes so I know my supply is okay. Anyone had this before? Can give me some tips? I currently feel like I'm letting my baby down.
