My little one is turning 6 months tommrorow, she is now rolling (when she feels like it) đ
I have started weaning with purées by placing her in he maxi cosi rocker in the most incline position.
She doesnât seem to be bothered by sitting up, just gets really fustrated and flops to one side.
Any tips please and is this normal?
I feel like all the other babyâs her age are fully sitting up on there own unaided

The NHS say most babies will be able to sit by 8 months. Playing games with her say on your knee can help like row row rownyour boat. It is recommended that baby shoupd be able to sit unaided before weaning.

There is a free app pathways I use. It tells you what milestones to expect and if you click the milestones it will tell you activities to do to help with that milestone.
I wouldn't be concerned at 6 months but if you have a 6 month check up you can always bring it up there.

I'm confused.
The NHS guidance says they should be able to sit with support and hold their head steady to wean.

My little one is very eager and showing all the signs- starting with purĂ©ed foods and sheâs loving it, taking each day as it comes and going on babyâs cues.

" Babies need to be able to sit up, holding their head steady so they can swallow food and eat safely. If your baby cannot stay in a sitting position or hold their head steady, they are not ready for solid food" No mention of aided

this is where it becomes confusing though. Because it also didn't mention unaided.
