How to deal with parents who tell me I hold my son too much? He’s 3 months old 😐 & I honestly only think they say that because when they look after him for a couple hours they can’t handle it and just want to blame someone else.

Tell them to piss off.... It's so bloody annoying when other people try to tell you how to look after your own child. Also, the Health Visitor said you can't hold them too much when they are that age. They still think you are 1 person and don't realise that you are now separated.
not to mention whenever we put baby down during a nap they more than likely always wake up!

My little girl is nearly 8 weeks, and when I put her down once she's asleep, I can guarantee she will be awake within 10 minutes. Contact naps are so much better. I'm happy as long as I'm prepared and have my snacks, a cuppa, and my kindle.

Tell them you can't spoil a baby. And it's your baby and you want to hold him. If they don't want to watch them then fine. My baby is 11 weeks and I've never had anyone watch him but me

Ask them to read this and then they might understand. Sounds like they need some educating! https://www.nct.org.uk/baby-toddler/emotional-and-social-development/what-fourth-trimester
